Alyssa Pov
The alarm goes off, I hop in the driver seat with buck in the passenger seat. I drive the truck following behind the door other truck.
"How does it feel to be back" Buck asks me while I focus on the road
"Amazing, I feel like I'm getting back to normal" I say smiling while focused on the road.
"It's great to have you back Alyssa" Buck says smiling while I focus on the road
"You feel like a brother to me Buck" I say and he smiles
"You feel like a sister to me Nash and Maddie also! She was so sad when she found out you left" he says
"Sorry about that, I just needed to get away" I say and he nods. Before we can say anything else dispatch radios us
"118, 118, this is dispatch. We got Bobby Nash on the line he says it's important" dispatch says. I look up buck confused for a second, we are both confused? Before anything else can be said I see this light next thing I know I'm tossed out of the truck into the middle of the road in pain.
I hear a Buck make a groaning sound which means he ok but hurt. I see a shadow of a guy walking up to him.
"Your new" the guy says and I know it's not any of our team members
"Buck" I whisper in pain
"Alyssa" he whispers back also in pain
"Give me the captain" the guy says once he's done looking around. He wants my dad!
"Where the captain" the guy says angry
"I'm the captain ok" Chim says coming out. He doesn't want you Chim! I remember my dad telling me about this boy when he was telling me about his past calls and some of the weirdest ones he seen
"No, no, I don't want you" he says, I move a little and the guy look at me. I think you saw the back of my turn out jacket, shit!
"Oh you Captain daughter, you'll be good beat to make him come" He says and grabs me which cause me to scream in pain. I definitely have broken ribs, somethings wrong with my ankle and possibly a dislocated shoulder.
"I want Captain Nash" he holds be tightly making everything hurt
"Freddie" my father yells which catches his attention
"Thought you'd be on the truck" Freddie says
"Let's my daughter go, it me you want not her" my dad says and you can hear the concern and anger in his voice. Freddy throws me to the ground and I land close to Buck. You hear this crack sound when I hit the ground which makes buck look at me immediately. You can tell I'm fighting pain
"Alyssa, stay awake" Buck says and I didn't even realize I was fighting to keep my eyes open. I don't even know what happens next is the next thing I know I hear bucks voice
"No, Alyssa, Check Alyssa. She's going in and out of consciousness" Buck says
"Alyssa, stay with us" Hen says.
"We got to move her NOW" she says and next thing I know I'm in an ambulance with Athena and Bobby next to me
"Hey, hey, hey, everything's gonna be ok" my dad says and that's when everything goes dark

My eyes slowly open and I see that I'm in a white room with a beeping sound. I feel someone holding my hand, I look to my right and I see Eddie. I move my hand a little which causes him to look at me
"Omg you awake" he says happy
"What happened" I ask him
"The truck blow up and Freddie was there. You were hurt, couple broken ribs, you had a dislocated shoulder and a sprained ankle that was close to broken" he says and you can here the concerned and hurt in his voice
"Oh" I say
"Your gonna be out of work for a while to heal" he says and I nod
"Where everyone else" I asks
"Your father and Athena went to get something to eat and Maddie and Carla are with Buck and Chris is with Abuela and Chim and Hen are in the lobby. I volunteered to stay with you for a little bit. They're only allowed one person in the room at a time. Bobby and Athena have been taking turns until visiting hours are up" he says
"How long was i out" i asks him
"4 days" he says and I look at him shocked
"What" I say
"You and Buck really took it the worst. He just woke up yesterday and we were all waiting for you to wake up" he says and I slowly nod cause I'm still in pain
"Is he ok" I ask him and he nods
"His leg is really bad but he will live. Only problem is they don't know he will be able to return to work" he says
"He must hate that, Buck loves his job" i say and he nods
"He does" Eddie says
"How's Christopher" I ask him
"He doing good, he misses you" he says
"I'm sorry about Shannon" I say and he looks sadly
"Yeah, Alyssa I'm really sorry about what happened at Christmas. I don't know what I was thinking. After you left me and Shannon got a divorce. She could tell I was missing you and she knew it was never gonna work with me. Before she passed she told me to find you and be happy. I still love you Alyssa, I still want us to be together and I understand if you don't want me anymore" he says gets up and leaves the room before I could say anything.
Next thing I know doctors come running in and everything goes black!
Bobby Pov
I'm in the waiting room with everyone else wait for another hour until I can go back in there or if Eddie comes out before then.
I see Eddie come out of the doors and comes over to us
"Is everything ok" I ask him
"Yeah, she awake" he says excited!
"Oh thank god she awake" I say and everyone cheers and hugs each other
"I told you everything will be ok" chim says
"I'm gonna go see her and see if we can do more the one in the room" I say and they nod
I walk through the doors and head to the back to find a doctor coming out of her room.
"How is she" I ask and look through the window but only to find her asleep and nurse is working on her
"I had to put her back to sleep, she had a panic attack and couldn't breathe and the pain is making it worse. If I didn't put her back to sleep she would've stopped breathing. She should wake up soon" she says and I'm shocked
"Can I go in" I ask and she nods no
"We're i'm letting her have no visitors for a little while just to see how she does" she says and I nod. I walk back to the lobby and everyone looks at me, probably cause my face
"What happened" Athena says immediately
"They had to put her back to sleep, she was having a panic attack and couldn't breathe and the pain from the broken ribs what is making it worse. If they didn't put her back to sleep she would have stopped breathing because of the pain" I say with tears rolling down my cheeks. Athena hugs me and I see May starting to cry
"Come here" I Motion for her to come over and I give her the biggest hug
"She'll be ok" I say still hugging her, hopefully!
