Alyssa Pov
Today's the day I start the job! I'm so excited but nervous at the same time but I know I'll do good! I put on my uniform that I have to wear everyday. I breath Alyssa, you got this! But why do I feel like today is going to be a bad day? I feel like something bad is gonna happen! I can't shake this feeling! I always had this feeling during the time I was kidnapped till 19 and something bad always happened!
I drink coffee and eat a good breakfast! Hen recommended drink coffee before a shift and later during it. I put on my shoes and head out the door. Hop in my car and drive to the 118 to start what would hopefully be a fresh start to my life. I pull up to the firehouse and head inside
"Ahhh she here" Hen says excited and hugs me
"Hey" I say hugging her back
"Now that she here, we can start" Buck says
"Start what" I say confused
"Cap does a morning announcement before shift start. Important information if there any or just chat" Hen says and bring me to where everyone is
"Ok we can begin cap" Buck says to cap
"Ok, the trucks needs to be stocked and checked. Buck your in charge of that, Alyssa and Eddie can help if you want. Also welcome Alyssa to the 118" Bobby says and I nod
"Everyone make her feel welcomed" Bobby says
"Just treat me like a normal person. Nothing special" I say
"Ok let's go" cap says
"Ok Alyssa restock the trucks, Eddie check the truck underneath and I will restock the other truck" Buck says and we nod.
"Oh Alyssa, welcome to the 118" Buck says
"Thanks Buck" I say and I start restocking the bag and putting them in the cabinets on the side of the truck. I realize I have my necklace still on, I got to put it in my locker. It means a lot to me! It was my grandmother's, which was Bobby mom.
"Hey, I'll be right back. I have to put something In my locker" I say to the boys
"Ok" I hear Buck says and a muffled Eddie says. I head to the locker room and open my locker. I take the necklace in the locker and close it. Just as I'm about to walk out the of the locker room the ground start shaking and I go fly into the locker. Ouch that hurt. I hear people screaming and yelling throughout the house.
I knew something bad was gonna happen and it is a earthquake! This a least a 7! I try to get out of the locker room but glass stops me before I can make a move.
"Is anyone else back there" I hear Bobby yell to Buck who moving to the front
"Yeah, I think Alyssa" I hear him yell
"I'm here" I say run to the front of the house as the shaking stops
"You ok" Hen says
"Got thrown in the lockers but I'll be fine, I had worse" I say and I see Bobby look at me with caring eyes checking to see if I'm hurt
"You sure" Eddie says and I nod
"Yeah now lets get ready, I know there gonna be a lot of calls and this place is a mess" I say and Bobby looks at me
"You just did my job" he says after everyone leaves to clean or fix something in the firehouse
"Sorry cap" I say with a laugh
"Ok let's go, try to clean and fix anything you can" he says and we all do something. Not even a minute later a call already comes in
"Let's go" Bobby says and we get in the trucks
