Time to wake up Alyssa! Time to start another day of your life!
Today is another day of the same job, babysitting. I babysit a kid named Danny, his moms have busy jobs that they need someone to watch there son after school hours, before school when they have to go to work early or when they go on dates. His moms trust me and love me. I struggle to get a job so babysitting is the only job I could get. Hopefully I'll be getting a new job soon!
Hi my name is Alyssa Green, Im 25 and i live in LA! I'm what you call broken! I fake feeling happy, when all I want to do it cry and be alone. I was kidnapped when I was young and got free when I was 19. I went back to my childhood home where my family lived only to find out it's gone from a fire and no one survived.
My real name is Alyssa Marie Nash! I changed my last name for safety reason. I never tell anyone my real name, Danny's moms don't even know and I think if they did they would never trust me.
I miss my family so much! I think of them everyday. I miss my mom, my 2 little siblings and my dad. I wish I could go back in time.
I know I'm making the proud everyday! I'm training to be LA firefighters and paramedic! My father and grandfather were one and I know I'm making them both proud but I also want to help people. I'm hoping to pass, I have the final test the end of this week!
I'm snapped out my thoughts when my phone rings! It Hen, Danny mom!
A=Alyssa H=Hen
A: hey Hen! Whats up?
H: Hey Alyssa sorry for calling you early. Hope I didn't wake you
A: it ok, I was up
H: good! I was wondering if you could pick Danny up from school? I have to work late tonight and Karen also
A: of course
H: thank you so much, you can bring him to job if you want. My shift ends at 5 so he won't be here for long
A: sure, I will do that! He always asks if we can go visit you but I never knew if I was aloud to bring him there
H: of course you two can! Cap says your always welcome to bring him.
A: ok, I have to go! Training today and then the final test the end of the week
H: Ahh you'll do amazing! See you later!
A: Bye
H: Bye
I put my phone down and get ready for the day. Put on my training uniform and shoes. Eat a quick breakfast and leave. We go this!!

I am drained, today was probably the hardest we had. Today they pushed us past our limit but also went over everything we learned. They are definitely getting us ready for the end of this week!
I got in my car and I had to Danny school which is not a far drive from here. I wait for him at the parent or whoever is picking up the student for the day pick up line! The school has me on file so I'm allowed pick them up at the end of the day but usually Karen or Hen will call the school to let them know.
I stand out on the sidewalk next to the other parents for about a minute and then I see the amazing boy I babysit come running out of the school and towards me to give me the biggest hug
"Alyssa" he says excited
"Hey buddy" I say
"Are we going to make cookies today" he asks me and I nod no. We usually make and bake homemade cookies once a week. Sometimes also make them for Hen and she'll bring them in to the firehouse. She says they love them! I usually make a batch for her to keep at home and for her to bring to the firehouse.
"Not today, I got approval from your mom to bring you to the firehouse" I say and I see him smile really big and he starts jumping up and down
"YAY YAY YAY" he says
He always wanted to go but I never knew if it was ok with Hen. She tells me that sometimes her job can be a little busy and crazy!
We get in my car and I hand him a small bag with two cookies
"Surprise" I say and I see his face light up with happiness
"Thank you, thank you, thank you" he says and eats the cookies
"Mmmmm yay" he says and I giggle
"Your welcome, now let's go" I say and start driving after both buckle up
It's take us 20 minutes to get there because of traffic. LA traffic is the worst! Danny grabs his bag and we both hope out of the car. We head inside and I see a man grabbing something from the truck.
"Excuse me, do you know where I can find Hen" I asks him
He turns around and you won't believe who it is......
