Eddie Pov
"So are you gonna tell me about the girl you like" Buck asks me which grabs hen and Chimney attention and snapped me away from looking at Alyssa and Christopher
"Did you really just ask me that" I ask Buck
"Yup" Buck says popping the p
"You like Someone" Hen says and I stay silent not wanting to get into this conversation
"Yeah he does, he told me at the call with the girl with your head stuck in the tailpipe. He said that there's this girl he likes and it was another reason why he turned those girls down. But he also told me he wants someone that will except him even though he has a kid" Buck says which annoys me so much right now
"Yo come one man" I say annoyed and he smiles
"Who this mystery girl that we don't know about" Chim asks
"Has she met your kid yet" Hen asks me
"well I was planning on inviting her over to dinner to meet him but she just did" I say and no one understands what I just said except Hen! Chimney and Buck looks so confused
"Omg omg omg omg" Hen says which immediately catches chimney and bucks attention
"You like her" Hen says looking at Alyssa then back at me
"Yes, There's just something about her. I feel relaxed around her, like all my worries just go away. Her smile brightens up the room. She's pretty but most of all I found love with her personality. I wanna get to know her more though but I'm scared she might not want to. Only thing is I know that it wouldn't be because I have a kid, I can tell that she loves my son already" I say
"Aww, she is really good with kids. It only took her two days and Danny loved her and wanted her around more often" Hen says
"Yeah, I was a little nervous about her meeting my son but then I remember you saying she is really good with kids. I haven't seen Christopher smile like that around a person that's not me. He smiles like that when he's with me also but never around other people. It's a different smile he gave earlier" I say and I see Hen smile more
"If you two do date, I think you two would look cute together" Chim says
"Agree" Buck says
"Thanks, I am planning on asking her to dinner one night and getting to know her better and letting her get to know me better also" I say
"What about you ex? What if she comes back into the picture" Chim asks
"I don't know, i'll cross that path when it comes" I say and they nod
"Just don't Hurt her or break her heart. She's been through a lot, she hasn't told me her Past story but she told me that it was not a great childhood" Hen says and I nod
I look over and I see Christopher done helping Alyssa with making cookies.
"Hey buddy" I say and he smiles
"Dad" he says excited
"You having fun" I asks him and he nods
"Yeah" he says
"Can Alyssa come over to our house one day" he asks me and I nod
"I'll see what I can do" I say and he smiles
"Hey how about we play games while the cookies bake" I say and he smiles
Alyssa Pov
Baking cookies with Christopher was so much fun. He helped me pour the ingredients into the bowl. I wait for them to cook. When they're done I take them out of the oven and I put them on the counter. I wait for them to cool down a little bit and then I put them on a plate and bring it over to everyone
"Cookie time" I say
"Yay" Buck says as he goes to grab one but I stop everyone from grabbing one
"Ahh, Christopher gets the first one. He was basically the one who made them" I say and Christopher giggles. He takes a cookie and eats it, he gets really excited.
"Mmmm" Christopher says
"It's that good" Eddie asks his son
"Yeah" Christopher says
We sit for a while and eat cookies until we decide that Christopher should go down the pole that we use instead of taking the stairs when we get a call. I stand at the bottom waiting for him to come down. We all start cheering as he comes down
"You nailed it kid" Eddie says and we all start cheering. A person appears in between the trucks and walks over to us
"All right, funs over" Eddie says
"Aww" I say
"Bye Christopher" we all says and Eddie walks Christopher over do you Eddie aunt
"Good Job today kiddo" my dad says
"You too cap" Christopher says and Eddie gives Christopher to his aunt and then walks over to my dad and gives him a hug
"Thanks Cap" Eddie says as he pulls away. Eddie follows Christopher out of the fire house and everyone else goes back to working. Before I can do anything my dad stops me
"Please have kids some day" He says
"planning on it, if I end up meeting someone" I say and he nods
"Please do" he says
"You I want to be grandpa Bobby" I say and he nods
"Grandpa Nash and Maybe" he says and I laugh
My dad gave me he rest of the day off, which I thanked him for. There's a couple of things I need to get done!
