Your point of view.

The air was crisp, and the streets were starting to fill with the usual morning rush as I walked to school. My earbuds were in, playing a steady beat that muffled the city's noise. Every now and then, a familiar face passed by and I'd nod slightly, and they would immediately return back the polite gesture.

As I neared the school gates, the usual chatter of students reached my ears, muffled by my music. I plucked the earphones out of my ears and inserted then back in my pocket. I sighed, adjusting my bag strap as I walked through the gates. And I was immediately met by the stares.

Here we go again.

I was pretty popular. Maybe it was because I didn't talk much. Or maybe it was because of the rumors about how I'd taken down a couple of guys who thought they could mess with me. Either way, I wasn't blind to the reputation I'd built.

Pretty, quiet, and apparently capable of taking down anyone who crossed me. That's what they saw. And honestly? It wasn't entirely wrong.

And just as I passed the lockers, a familiar voice called out, breaking through the noise.

"Y/n-san!"

I turned to see Hinata waving at me, her bright smile cutting through the monotony of the morning. She stood a few feet away and I couldn't help but feel a small smile tug at my lips.

"Hey, Hina." I said as I walked over to her. "What's up?"

"Not much, just glad I caught you." She said, falling into step beside me as we headed down the corridor.

Hinata was one of those people who could brighten anyone's day with just a few words. It was one of the reasons I enjoyed talking to her. She was sweet, kind, and honest, a rare mix these days.

As we walked, I noticed something was a little off. Her usual cheerfulness seemed dimmed, like something was weighing on her mind.

"You okay?" I asked, glancing at her.

Hinata hesitated for a moment, then gave me a small smile. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just.. thinking about Takemichi."

I raised an eyebrow. "Why, did something happen?"

"No, it's not that." she said, shaking her head. "It's just... he's been acting weird lately. Like, confused and distracted in a way. I've asked him if something's wrong, but he keeps saying everything's fine. I don't want to push him, but I can't help but worry."

I hummed thoughtfully, recalling my own encounter with him not too long ago. "Funny. I ran into him a day or two ago."

Hinata stopped walking for a second, her eyes widening. "You did? Where?"

"Just around town." I said with a shrug, keeping my tone casual. "He was kind of... all over the place. He bumped into me, and I lost my ice cream because of it."

"Oh no!" she exclaimed, half-laughing, half-sympathetic. "That sounds exactly like him!"

"Yeah." I replied, smirking. "He kept apologizing so much, though, I couldn’t even be mad."

She let out chuckle.

"Well besides that, he was kinda beat up. Do you know something about that?"

She raised her eyes, before looking down to the ground, nodding along as she spoke. "Yeah.. I think I do. He and his friends have made up a gang. Like it's not really a big thing but if I remember the name it's Mizo Mid gang..? Yeah, that's right."

Mizo mid gang? What kinda name is that?

"So, basically they just pretty much doing whatever. Picking fights with other well known people. And honestly, it's making me worry a lot. It's like whenever I see him, he's always covered in bruises."
