Third point of view.

The air was crisp, and the streets were starting to fill with the usual morning rush as you walked to school. Your earbuds were in, playing a steady beat that muffled the city's noise. Every now and then, a familiar face passed by, and you'd nod slightly, earning the same polite gesture back.

As you neared the school gates, the usual chatter of students reached your ears, muffled by your music. You plucked the earphones out and shoved them back into your pocket, sighing as you adjusted your bag strap and walked through the gates. Instantly, you were met by stares.

Here we go again.

You were pretty popular. Maybe it was because you didn't talk much. Or maybe it was because of the rumors about how you'd taken down a couple of guys who thought they could mess with you. Either way, you weren't blind to the reputation you'd built.

Pretty, quiet, and apparently capable of taking down anyone who crossed you. That's what they saw. And honestly? They weren't entirely wrong.

Just as you passed the lockers, a familiar voice called out, breaking through the noise.

"Y/n-san!"

You turned to see Hinata waving at you, her bright smile cutting through the monotony of the morning. She stood a few feet away, and you couldn't help but feel a small smile tug at your lips.

"Hey, Hina,"  You said as you walked over. "What's up?"

"Not much, just glad I caught you." She fell into step beside you as you both headed down the corridor.

Hinata was one of those people who could brighten anyone's day with just a few words. It was one of the reasons you enjoyed talking to her. Sweet, kind, and honest, a rare mix these days.

But as you walked, you noticed something was off. Her usual cheerfulness seemed dimmed, like something was weighing on her mind.

"You okay?"  You asked, glancing at her.

Hinata hesitated, then gave you a small smile. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just.. thinking about Takemichi-kun"

You raised a brow. "Why, did something happen?"

"No, it's not that." She shook her head. "It's just.. he's been acting weird lately. Like, confused and distracted in a way. I've asked him if something's wrong, but he keeps saying everything's fine. I don't want to push him, but I can't help but worry."

You hummed thoughtfully, recalling your own encounter with him not too long ago. "Funny. I ran into him a day or two ago."

Hinata stopped walking for a second, her eyes widening. "You did? Where?"

"Just around town." You shrugged, keeping your tone casual. "He was kind of.. all over the place. He bumped into me, and I lost my ice cream because of it."

"Oh no!" she exclaimed, half-laughing, half-sympathetic. "That sounds exactly like him!"

"Yeah."  You smirked. "He kept apologizing so much, I couldn't even be mad."

She chuckled softly.

"Well, besides that, he was kinda beat up. Do you know something about that?"

Hinata's eyes flickered before she looked down, nodding slowly. "Yeah... I think I do. He and his friends have made up a gang. Like, it's not really a big thing, but if I remember right, it's called the Mizo Mid gang."

Mizo Mid gang? What kinda name is that?

"So basically, they just go around picking fights with other well-known people. And honestly, it's making me worry a lot. It's like whenever I see him, he's always covered in bruises."
