♡Chapter-35♡

Third point of view.

You walked alongside Draken, both of you carrying the gifts for Emma's birthday, making your way through the city. Draken held a teddy bear in his hand, something Emma had seen at the arcade but couldn't get because the machine was broken.

You couldn't help but feel proud since apparently you 'helped' him with the idea but also since it was very thoughtful of Draken to remember the detail.

"You think Emma's gonna like it." He asked in between the stroll, his stare was fixed on the front.

"I think she'll love it." You answered immediately. "Don't stress out so much, she would appreciate anything if it's given by you."

He frowned, glancing down at you before scoffing that was soon followed by a small laugh. "Don't go around saying stuff like that."

You smiled until your eyes caught a familiar face. "Is that Takemichi?"  You pointed in the direction, glancing at his crouched form behind a small wall.

Draken followed suit, nodding at your words. "Yeah. That's definitely him." He frowned. "But, what is he doing?"

You shrugged, picking up your steps. "Only way to found out." As the two of you walked towards the latter. You noticed another figure beside him, crouched up in the same form as him.  

..Hina?

Until she stood up, marching forward with heavy steps. "We need to find out for sure. If this is true, I feel really bad for them!" She spoke out loud enough for us to hear, making us pass confused glances towards each other.

"Who's gonna feel bad for who?" Draken's tone cut through making the latter quickly turn around with a horrified expression, eyes switching between our figure in panic.

I frowned at his expression as we reached him, walking past him to see the commotion.

"Emma and.."

"Mikey?" 

"Y-You've got it all wrong, Draken-kun! Y/n-san!" Takemichi followed behind roaming his hand in caution, tears leaking out of his eyes.

As we reached near the table of the two, Hina gasped out loud looking at our frames. I turned my head back muttering out a hum in confusion, and it only worsened when I saw Takemichi kneed down on the ground, bawling his eyes out for some apparent reason.

Only for Draken to crack a snicker to break the tension. "You're hanging out with your little sister on her birthday, Mikey?" He pointed towards the latter, who only turned his head muttering a small shut up.

"..Little sister?" I heard from behind.

"Wait, did you not know Takemichi?"  I asked with a frown, a confused expression evident of his face.

"Huh?"

"Mikey and Emma are siblings, though their mom's are different." Draken explained.

"What!???" The duo yelled out in shock.

"Huh, I thought I told you before Hina?" Emma asked, mind conflicted.

"Huh? Uh, Miss detective and Yamagishi-kun?" Takemichi raised a brow, glancing at the duo in irritation, who avoided his stare by focusing on the parfait displays.

Did they thought that..? A small snicker left my lips as I realised the situation.

"Here." Draken placed the pink bear in his head on Emma's head. Grinning out at her expression. "Happy birthday."

"Hey, that's the thing you wanted from the arcade the other day." Mikey pointed out in shock.

I smiled looking over her expression, as she stared down at the bear in her hands in adoration. A small red hue decorated on her face.
