Year 2017.Third point of view.
"It's a lovely day today, isn't it?"
The man glanced up at the clear sky with a grin, the shotgun resting against his shoulder, its tip pointed at the ground.
"Huh? I guess." The other replied shortly. They stood side by side, keeping watch in front of the building with their squad. "At least none of the executives are here right now."
"Yeah." The man hummed, leaning back against the wall. He allowed himself a small smile as they began casually chatting, enjoying the rare moment of peace.
Their conversation, however, was cut short when a black Land Rover pulled up in front of the building. Both men immediately straightened, their backs rigid as they tried to get a glimpse through the tinted windows.
The guards ahead sprang into action, one of them stepping forward to open the car door, bowing deeply as he did so.
A hand emerged from the vehicle as a woman stepped out with an air of authority. Her hair framed her face, which was set in a mask of barely contained fury. She pulled her hand back as soon as she was on solid ground and strode forward with purpose, a line of guards trailing closely behind her.
The men stationed near the building bowed low as she passed, not daring to meet her gaze.
"And just when I thought the day couldn't get any better." One of the guards muttered under his breath.
"Yeah.. someone's definitely going to die today." The other added, his eyes lingering on the pistol in her hand.
The atmosphere inside shifted the moment she entered. Worker's froze at her sudden appearance, their movements halting as all attention turned to the imposing woman. Her heels clicked against the floor with a deliberate rhythm, and her heavy steps carried a murderous intensity.
She stopped in front of the elevator, her fingers tightening around the pistol as a flash of memory darkened her already furious expression.
The elevator doors opened with a sharp ding, and she stepped in without hesitation. She pressed the button for the top floor, her guards following silently.
When the elevator arrived at its destination, she strode purposefully down the hallway. She stopped in front of a specific door, but the guards stationed there immediately blocked her path.
"I'm sorry, ma'am." One of them said, lowering his head respectfully. "No guards are allowed inside."
She shot him a cold glare but motioned for her own guards to remain behind. They obediently stepped back as the stationed guards opened the door for her.
Inside, several men turned their heads toward her in surprise.
"Out." She commanded, her voice sharp and unforgiving.
The men exchanged confused glances but scrambled to obey, leaving the room without hesitation. All except one.
His back was to her, his posture relaxed as he sat on the luxurious couch.
"Kisaki." She said, her voice laced with venom.
The man turned slightly, glancing over his shoulder at her. "If you were planning to visit, you could have at least mentioned it." He said smoothly.
She ignored his words, stepping closer until she stood directly in front of him.
"It was important, you know." He continued, taking a slow drag from his cigarette. "The meeting."
