Your point of view.Probably because of my newfound abilities, everything happening around me made me feel incredibly sick. It was hard to cope with it all. In fact, I'd go as far as to say I had no clue what was happening around me.
The relationships that had once defined me, those that held such a major part of my heart were shattered. My family could only yell their frustrations and worries at me, and I had no answers for them.
And it made me wonder... If I hadn't time-leaped, would my future self have even considered going back to them?
It was painful to see my brother acting cold towards me.
It felt unnatural.
This wasn't the future I wanted...
"Y/n-san!"
I blinked, lifting my gaze from the ground. Takemichi and Naoto were walking toward me, their expressions grim and heavy with the weight of the situation.
"Did we keep you waiting?" Takemichi asked in a hurried tone.
I breathed out slowly. "No.. I just got here."
They nodded, gesturing for me to follow as we continued walking through the plain white corridors.
The visitation rooms lined the hallway, each appearing after a set distance, their numbered doors standing cold and silent. When we reached our designated room, Takemichi pushed the door open, and we stepped inside.
The room was simple, divided by a glass wall that separated visitors from prisoners. The glass had small, clustered holes to allow voices to pass through. Two chairs sat on each side of the divider.
Moments later, the opposite door opened.
A familiar figure stepped inside, his wrists and ankles shackled. His shaved head revealed the inked tattoo on the side of his skull, its sharp lines a grim reminder of the past.
"Back again, Takemitchy?" Draken's voice broke the silence, low and somewhat amused.
"I'm sorry for bothering you like this, Draken-kun.." Takemichi said, his voice steady but apologetic.
Draken gave him a blank stare before sighing. "I told you to leave Tokyo-" His words stopped abruptly as his eyes traveled past Takemichi and landed on me.
"Y/n..?" He whispered, his voice carrying a mix of surprise and disbelief. His eyes widened as he stared at me.
I met his gaze and took a sharp breath, pressing my lips together. "Hi.."
Draken sat down slowly, a faint smile tugging at his lips as he let out a soft chuckle. "What a surprise.." He muttered, looking down at the table in front of him.
I leaned against the wall, crossing my arms as my eyes swept over his face. The dark circles under his eyes and his tired expression told me everything I needed to know. He was struggling.
"You look rough.." I commented.
"Well.." He let out a dry laugh, glancing up at me. "..Not much you can expect when you're stuck in a cell." His gaze softened for a moment. "How've you been..?"
I hesitated before giving a small, strained smile. "Good.."
Draken nodded slowly, turning his attention back to Takemichi. Takemichi stepped forward and took a seat at the table, his expression determined. "I wanted to ask you something.. Do you remember Valhalla? The biker gang from twelve years ago with an unknown leader?"
"Yeah.."
"Was their leader.. Kisaki Tetta?"
Draken's brows furrowed, his surprise evident, but he quickly shook his head. "No.. he wasn't. The head of Valhalla was Mikey."
