The moon was high in the sky as the tavern was buzzing with life, dunkards drinking and bards playing their songs to entertain such people. To your dismay, Diluc wasn't working as the bartender tonight but you tried to look past it as Kaeya kept his promise and bought you drinks. And you wanted to see how far you could push it after downing a few glasses of dandelion wine that could compete with the drunkards of the town. Lisa, acting as the peace keeper, had a few drinks and was very clearly tipsy as she could not keep her mouth shut for more than a few seconds. Kaeya had a few glasses, not as many as you though, and seemed to be going strong with no sign of the alcohol impairing the sharpness in his eyes. You asked Charles for another glass as you chugged the last one in one go.

"I'm surprised that you haven't passed out yet from the amount of drinks you've had." He states, pouring you another glass without hesitation.

"I'm quite surprised too. I'm not even sure if the drunkards could keep up with you, how do you do it?" Lisa chimed in, holding her half empty glass.

"I have my secrets for a reason." You smiled. You knew the answer already though, since you carried a demonic blood in your blood stream you were able take a much heavier beating than normal people. It not only included injuries, but also alcohol for some reason.

"I bet Albedo would be glad to do research on you to figure that out." She sighed as you raised an eyebrow at her. "Our chief alchemist, he's often at Dragonspine doing research there though he does come down once in a while for when we need help."

You shrug it off as Kaeya turns to you, curiosity burning in his eyes. "That reminds me, since you have horns would that mean you would have a tail or claws or is it just the horns?"

"I, uh, do have a tail and claws, though I do try to hide them as much as I can. Horns are harder to hide so that's why I don't even bother to try and hide them." You say nervously, taking a sip of your wine and hoping the subject changes soon. You don't like talking about your demonic features out in the open.

"Oooooh so does that mean you have wings too?" Lisa leans in, a bit too excited to hear the answer.

"Unfortunately not, I've only had my feet carry me around." You sigh.

"So you just have horns, a tail, and claws? Nothing else? I would have suspected that you had some sort of power besides you vision." Kaeya sighed as he took another swig of his drink as a chill ran down your spine. He was a bit too on the dot for your liking, you made a mental note to keep your guard up around him, you don't know how much you can say within ear shot of him.

You tried to shake yourself out of your panicked thoughts and try to focus on what's going on around you, listening to the bards who played their songs and took in the atmosphere of the whole tavern. You scanned across the room before your eyes settled on a bard dressed in green and with braided bangs. He looked a bit too young to be at a tavern, right? As you scanned him more you noticed an anemo vison hooked at his hip as he plucked the strings of his lyre and sung his songs for the drunkards around him. You hummed at the songs he played as Kaeya and Lisa took note of who you were intrigued by, as the bard took notice as well and made his way to where you were sitting.

"My my! Is this the young maiden that I've heard float by?" He chirped, obviously noting towards you. "I see you've made pals, not surprised by such a gal!"

"This is Venti." Kaeya hummed. "He often drinks and preforms here despite his young looks."

"Hey! I'm of age you know." He huffed, crossing his arms as Lisa chuckled a bit.
