Lighting was something so beautiful and yet so dangerous at the same time. Maybe it wasn't the best idea for you to be in the middle of Windrise while a heavy thunderstorm was going on currently, but these commissions won't finish themselves. Claps of thunder help to cover your footsteps as you cleared the rather small hilichurl camp out in the open. Heavy rain covered your normally sweat covered forehead as the last hilichurl fell and reduced to ash. You were getting more and more adjusted to the commissions you had to take on as you worked your way up the ranks in the adventurer's guild. You reached the point where you could go out to Liyue to tackle more commissions there. You gave them the biggest no in your life without thinking, you didn't want to get hunted down by the three who constantly tried to stop you that gave you no time to rest. Between the anemo user, cryo user, and pyro user, you were not going anywhere near Liyue any time soon.

The flash of lightning brought you back into reality suddenly as the ground shook. Your guess it must have struck near by and it was time for you to get back to Mondstadt. Fearing being stuck by lighting, you broke out into a sprint to try and make it back as fast as you could, navigating the ways you had burned into your mind. Time had flew and it would have been over a month since you walked inside Mondstadt's walls, and a few weeks since your incident with Diluc. You two would see each other occasionally and chat whenever friends were around, but the tension between you and him since that night was something you noticed right off the bat. That night remained unspoken, whether for better or for worse, you still pushed on with getting fully accustomed to Mondstadt's culture and history. Some of it resonated with you about what's happening in Inazuma from the last time you were there and the resistance army. But that was your unspoken truth that no one has heard.

You walked past the gate with a huff, winded from the running you had to do to reach the safety of the walls. You walked up the first flight of steps to reach Katherine who remained unmoved from her position behind the counter. You'd swear you never seen her move from behind the counter and wondered if she ever did.

"Here's your rewards for your commissions." She smiled, handing you a bag of mora.

You smiled back at her and sighed at how heavy the rain was and how soaked you were. Part of you just wanted to stay out at Windrise and soak in the rain deep in your thoughts, but a clap of thunder reminded you of the danger if you did stay in an open aired field for that long. Being flash fried by lighting didn't sound too appetizing to eat. You contemplated your next decisions as you gave up on any idea of adventuring to just head inside and take a bath. You were getting cold from your wet clothes anyway, perhaps it would be a good idea to take the afternoon off to relax a bit. You made your way through the streets to the eastern side, where tall houses stood together. You dug your hand into one of your convenient pockets to pull your keys out and to jiggle them into the key hole, turning to hear the familiar click that let you push open your door. You shut the door behind you and throwing your keys on the table near the entrance as you treaded your way towards you room, clicking your armor off before you even made it to your door. You placed it on top of your dresser as you peeled off the rest of your wet clothes, making note to hang them and to let them dry. You had spare clothes if yours didn't dry if you needed to go outside for whatever the reason was, pushing the door open to your bathroom and grabbing a towel and starting a bath. You did your daily check after commissions to make sure that you had no open wounds and to see how your newly healed wounds were healing nicely. You only went to the church for major injuries, minor injuries were nothing you couldn't deal with.

Finishing with your small inspection you moved to the bath which was much warmer than your wet clothes. Sometimes you really need to stop all the fighting you do daily and just unwind for a bit, it made your time flow by easier. You peered out the window to watch over a rainy Mondstadt, sometimes watching the occasional person running to get where they needed to be. You'd admit, you were getting too adjusted to the city life of Mondsadt as your instincts yelled inside of you to finish your bath as someone would attack you while you sat in this tub, defenseless as you didn't have your vision on you. You panicked at the thought, suddenly becoming hyperaware of what was going on around you as you sat up from your relaxing bath. Dread flowed through your veins as you caught yourself feeling overly worrisome over your memories of having to do everything out of survival. You needed to snap yourself out of such a state before your panicked thoughts became worse. With a second of thought, you dunked your head underwater, listening to the sounds of the rain from the water that echoed in your tub. You pushed yourself up out of the water to take a deep breath in, rubbing the water from your eyes as you felt your panicked feelings leave your body in an instant, silencing your thoughts at once. You shook your head deciding to finish your bath and letting your mind wander elsewhere.
