You sat on the floor watching the sun rise, the dark sky burning alive to wake those that roam this world.

Diluc had left after a few hours, probably to get a head start on his day. You wondered how much sleep he got daily for him to work such long hours. You blinked yourself awake at the bright light that entered your eyes, you'd been half awake most of the time but unable to rest easily.

You heard the routine of heels clicking outside, the chatters and 'good morning' from the maids. The manor buzzed alive as the sun blazed, it wouldn't be too long until you were offered food as apart of their routine. You sighed at having to stay inside for a few more days, you just wanted to go into the city. The worst part was they took away your means of power to make sure you wouldn't slip away.

You heard the turn of your door knob and the click of heels- and strangely enough the sound of metal.

You got up and turned to see one of the maids bringing in your armor, neatly cleaned and polished to your liking. She put it on your bed as you scrambled up to put them on, ignoring the weakness in your knees from not eating anything.

"Master Diluc said you're needed in the city. He said Lumine was back in the city." She backed up a bit, her passive voice being careful to not shout. "You watch period is over."

Even if you had absolutely no energy from your lack of sleep, you felt determined to get the hell out of here. You gave her a little nod as you tightened your armor around your arms, lacing up your boots to get ready to leave. The sound of gliding metal gave you comfort for not being able to cover any of your scars for some time.

You would be the worlds biggest idiot if you weren't going to leave as fast as you could.

After stretching your arms you took the first few confident strides to your door, opening it and flying down the stairs. You didn't even say your goodbyes to the maids, you just rushed to the main door and practically blew it off of its hinges. The smell of fresh air filled your lungs, you could finally feel the weather you could only observe from a distance. You set on your path back to the city with a new found sense of life.

Being able to feel the crunch of dirt under your boots was one of many small things that brought you happiness. Even if you were only there for about four days, it felt like years to you. You wanted to put the whole situation behind you and keep pressing on. You picked up your pace on the path, anxious to get back to the familiar city you were once living in.

You passed by Springevalle that seemed to be unmoving to time, a few of the children there waved to you when you glanced over. You softly waved back as the city gates was so close to you. You were excited to get back into carefree city and meet with Lumine once more. Now that you thought about it, wasn't she looking for a way into Inazuma? Your stomach churned as that was most likely the case of why she asked you to come in. There was no way you could mentally prepare yourself for such a topic short notice.

You nodded to the knights at the gate as you breezed by, taking the first few steps past the gates. You quickly noticed that all eyes were on you, some of the people started to whisper to each other in the sight of you. You were probably due to meet Charles in the tavern to learn what kind of news about you was flying around.

You mentally shook yourself as you tried to find Lumine, your eyes looking for the bright blonde in the small crowds. You kept moving up the main street, looking side to side amongst the talk of people. You turned to ask Sara but was met with the two toned eyes of a cold knight. She had a strange expression on her face, you remembered you saw her in the tavern where Lumine first asked you about Inazuma.

"You're Eula, right?"

She blinked a few times from your question. "That's me, yes."

"Have you heard anything from Lumine or where she is? I heard she was looking for me." You asked.
