You awoke in a distant place, your vision was blurry as you tried to adjust to your surroundings. You were a light sleeper after being on the run for so long, waking to anything that made a sound to stay on guard. Besides your healing injuries, your body screamed at you to get going as the moon was high in the sky, the perfect time to get the hell out of here. You grabbed the little things you carried on your person and started heading to the area you already scouted out.
The vision hunters had been more relentless than usual, word has it another vision user escaped by the ports, slicing up the hunters while he made his escape. While you'd love to escape by the ports, your horns alerted everyone of who you were, you would be dead on the spot if you even drew near the populated ports. You knew it was about time to leave, scouting on one of the islands for a fisherman's boat that could hold up as you sailed the long seas ahead of you. That was already a few weeks in the past as you hovered around in the same area, gathering food and medical supplies that would last you the trip to the mainland.
In the dead of the night was when you always operated, it gave you the most cover even if anyone from a few miles away could hear the screams, you just had to get through this one last time and you'd be free. One last battle, one last sight of your birth home. You had no idea where you were going to go, just somewhere other than Inazuma. You dashed across the open aired path to get closer to the man's house that sat on the water, to your limited knowledge if you sailed more to the left you could hit around the area between Liyue and Mondstadt. If that's where your freedom laid, you'd go there without hesitation. You slowly tip toed your way closer to the house, scouting for where the anchor laid on the boat. It was a risk to use your electro to burn the anchor off, you weren't sure if any hunters were near your position anyway.
You crouched down as you sprinted to the dock, getting to the rope that anchored the boat and quickly undid it, dropping the anchor as it wasn't needed to where you were going. You only had a few guesses when it came to sailing a boat on your own, but every opportunity was something that you could never pass up. You started to push the boat off of the dock as you heard the yells of men getting closer, flinching at who it was as they rounded the corner.
"There she is! Get her!" A man yelled, as in the distance you saw a pyro arrow charging in your way.
Your blood went cold as you summoned your catalyst as soon as you could, throwing jolts of lighting at the sword wielding hunters. You turned your eye to the boat and hoped to whatever god that would hear you to get a strong gust of wind to get out of here. You flicked your eyes to the arrow flying at you, too late to dodge it as it dug into your leg, you had no time to cry out as some of the hunters got too close to your liking. A small breeze started to pick up as you started to run to the now sailing boat, jumping on as the wind started to pick up stronger and stronger.
You turned your head back to feel time freeze for a moment, a flurry of throwing stars and arrows were coming in your direction at full speed ahead. You had no time to react, no space to move. You could only duck before the weapons hit you, the feeling of blades digging into your skin became all to common as you squeezed your eyes shut.
You soon rose from the bed sharply, grasping at your arm and neck to feel for any weapons. Your heart was pounding in your ear as you felt no sharp objects, closing your eyes in relief as you hunched over to catch your breath. You hadn't had a dream of a memory that recent for a while, it felt too real for you to brush it off. It was a noticeable trend that recent memories were starting to haunt you now, giving you more on your already fully plate. All you could do was burry your head in your hands and mentally prepare yourself for the rest of the day.
Treading out of bed, you put on your normal attire that you had been wearing for the past two days away from home, heading outside of your room to return your key. When you turned to your left, you saw the adeptus you spoke to a night ago. You furrowed your eyebrows in panic that you did something to piss him off as he met your eyes.
