The adrenaline pumping in your veins was something you were very accustomed to. Each step you took made your levels rise higher and higher as your life danced on the fine line it always did not too long ago. Getting the first jump on the hunters from high above proved effective as ever, though there was more of them than you were comfortable with. Light on your toes, you casted your electro onto the group of hunters, hoping to strike them in a non-vital area first to weaken then. To no avail, none of your shots landed which resulted on two of the hunters jumping to pin you down. You barely had any time to react as more hunters loaded their guns at you. Internally, your mind screamed at you to take them out right now, but it was too close for comfort. Too close to civilization for people to see your rather darker side. Instead of jumping to the side or using one of the out of place hunters as a meat shield, you turned your back to the group and started running towards where they came from. Naturally running in a straight line was a horrible idea, and these hunters had more endurance than you cared to admit so you decided to use a bit of the demonic build up you had. It was much stronger than the adrenaline you had going, your movements picked up and became sharper with each stride. Your chest heaved as you tried to bounce side to side on the terrain between the cliffs, looking up to see any sort of loose rubble you could use to crush them. That idea was soon threw out the window as one of the hunters tagged you in the leg with a well timed arrow. You were unsure how long the straight shot was going to be but you hoped that it came soon.

When you rounded one of the corners and saw pillars ahead of you, you broke out into a sprint once more and ignoring any roaring pain that erupted from you right leg. When you took in the area around you it was open but had many areas to hide in, not to mention the amount of anemo energy that was present. Ducking behind a wall, you stopped for a second and pulled out the arrow from your leg as you tried to catch your breath one more. You knew these hunters were well trained to listen for any sort of life even without a vision, but that's what you mask aided you with. Over the times you fought them and they acquired new tactics, you always adapted to them. Your back was pressed up to the wall and ready to strike anyone who peered around the corner. The times where you had to be so silent were always the scariest, one wrong move and you were as good as dead. You heard shuffles come closer and closer to your position, drawing a knife from your side and readying to strike. You were so glad to come fully prepared tonight.

When you locked eyes with the hunter, you lunged at him and driving your knife into his head. You turned his now dead body towards his comrades as you used his body as a meat shield for the incoming flurry of arrows. Once you felt the final arrow enter the limp body you shoved it towards the nearest hunter and gathering your usual bolt of electro as you ran towards him. You met him before the body did, slicing at the main artery in his neck and watching him fall and struggle. To say you were seasoned was an understatement. When you looked up at the remaining group it was three other guys, on the taller and meatier scale as well. Maybe you should have left the scrawnier ones for last because you were going to have one hell of a time trying to take out the three of them. When you saw them charging at you with weapons drawn you felt your body tense up at the sight of it. You went to go and lunge out of the way, but your leg screamed in pain that wouldn't let you move. You felt the two men tackle you at full force, taking all air you had in your lungs as the dug their weapons into your skin, one on your right side and the other in your left shoulder. Your body went numb except for the points of entrances where the knives dug deep into, you didn't even register when you hit the ground because you were too focused on the sharp pain.

Your body was sent into panic as you used the rest of your demonic build up to keep fighting and to push the men off of you. You felt yourself mindlessly gather the shadowy hands that grabbed and threw back the men on you as you got up on your good leg. Your body was throbbing already as you didn't dare take the knives out from their wounds. Your movement was limited, but your strength was much stronger than normal. Consuming this much demonic energy at once could be costly if you weren't careful, but you were going to die if you didn't use it at once. Using your good arm, you raised your hand and catalyst, gathering your electro at your finger tips to stun them for long enough for you to get away. You pushed out the gathering power you had to watch them struggle to the ground as you limp-ran your way out of the tight area and into the open air area. For the firework show you were going to put on, the last thing you wanted was to be trapped in a tight area. Before you could even turn, your back was filled with the sensation of flames. When you stabilized your self and turned back around, you saw the last hunter that didn't tackle you have a vision in hand, but it looked off to you. It had a disturbing aura from it that sent chills down your spine. Before you could react once again you felt the burning sensation once more, this time traveling down your legs. All this time you'd been fighting back the urge to scream, but couldn't restrain yourself anymore. You felt like your body was going to give out at any moment once you used up the rest of your demonic energy as your adrenaline from the fight was already long gone. When you regained your senses, you quick thinking seemed to work out in your favor as you lured out the three of them into one area outside.
