Summary: Thunderstorms are something that halts the life in the city of freedom. But it can bring a new and unexpected change. One stormy night Diluc was saved from an unknown electro user who's past and origin is a mystery to most people of Mondstadt.

You carried a burden from your dark and blood stained path, coming to a carefree place in search of your freedom from the atrocities you have not only seen but experienced. Unspoken words and dark secrets will become undone just as the wind blows throughout the city, perhaps you will find your freedom from someone. With a personality of lighting, how will you

The violent sounds of the wind and thunder would never soothe the land that's being watched over by the anemo archon. For such a strong storm to roll around in the gentle lands of Mondstadt was rather strange, but for you such strong storms were nothing but normal weather. It was only about a week ago did you reach the borders of Mondstadt after being on the run for as long as you can remember. Even here, you took caution in every step you took, treading along the paths without ever daring to step foot in the open. This was the life you had gotten used to.

Cold and secluded from the human society from your blood, you were forced to become a cold blooded killer. Despite being half human, you never acknowledged it as your hands will be forever tainted with the foes you've slain. You walked this path alone, everyone you've had who had gotten close in the past slain. For good reason too.

You'd been lurking in the forests since you had gotten here, only truly moving under the cover of night so no one would find you. By day you'd sit and watch the different areas, but never daring to cross the clearing in front of the city. Too many risks, you didn't know if there were hunters here or if the people watching over the city knew of your existence, it wasn't worth finding it out in the day time. Perched up high, you saw a man with bright red hair quickly making his way back, seeming to be in a panic because of the weather.

To your limited knowledge, you were lurking above a winery that was quite popular on the main land. Because of the open clearing and how the winery glowed with life at night, you could never hear the conversations. Surely you would scare them all the way, you had horns and fangs. They were all human. You were a demon.

You crouched down to watch what the commotion was, and to your best guess it was those people moving barrels inside. Perhaps they were filled with wine, its not like you would ever find out anyway. You started to back up and move to a different place, the silence being filled by the harsh rain clashing against the metal you wore to cover your arms, neck, and face. You backed up to the edge of a hill seeming now that all the commotion was over, planning to scout a new area out.

That's when you heard the most ungodly scream coming near the waterfall, followed by a clap of thunder.

Even if you weren't from Mondstadt originally, you'd give it your all to protect the lands from any harm. You followed the mental path you took to reach the edge of the river, taking longer than it would if you were to just run on the path. But you didn't want to risk being seen, carefully creeping up to the commotion to see the same man earlier wielding a claymore and using his pyro to attack a Stonehide Lawachurl. You sat and stayed silent, only wanting to intervene if he failed to take the monster out. Your eyes then followed an adventurer who was scrambling away, possibly making his way back towards Liyue as he ran in the opposite direction to go to Mondstadt.

From watching the man's attacks, you knew his pyro was weaker in the pouring rain. Even then, his strong attacks chipped into the protective layer the Lawachurl had. You clenched your hand, using bits of your demonic power as well as summoning your catalyst just in case. You glanced down to your hand to look at the deep purple vision you bared, signifying you were noticed by the electro archon.
