Jisung decided to stay in his room for the rest of the evening, opting to read by his lonesome.

Even though he wasn't close to Lee Know, and he didn't fully trust him, he felt safer in this house with him here.

Without the blonde here, Jisung didn't feel as though he would survive.

He might have thought Chan changed earlier, but that didn't alter the way he felt around the older.

His eyes kept darting towards the door as he read his book, fearful that at any moment, Chan would enter to take advantage of him. Lee Know wasn't here to stop him. What's to say he wouldn't?

Chan sat downstairs, wondering how fucked he was.

Lee Know was genuinely upset with him. Possibly even angry with him, which was worse.

Chan didn't really know what to do. Beg for forgiveness? Tell Lee Know he was sorry and it won't happen again? Everyone knows it will, so he can't lie to him.

He still isn't completely sure what he did wrong, but he's sure whatever it was, it's bound to happen again.

The male sighed as he glanced upstairs, wondering if he should go check on Jisung. Maybe see if the boy wants to order out for dinner tonight.

Venturing up the stairs, Chan gently knocked on the boy's door before peaking his head inside.

Jisung waited for the older to speak, placing his bookmark inside the pages of his current read.

"What would you like for dinner, doll?"

The smaller thought for a moment, wondering what would sound good.

Chan inched his way inside the room before adding, "We'll be ordering out. If that's okay."

Jisung pouted, preferring home cooked meals to takeout.

Chan could see the disappointment on the boy's face as he sighed, "I wasn't lying when I said Lee Know was a house husband and does all of the cooking."

Taking a seat on the edge of Jisung's bed, he continued, "He's the chef in this house because I suck at cooking. So whenever he's away, I order out or go to a restaurant."

Jisung smiled faintly, finding it kind of adorable how the older was being vulnerable right now.

He was admitting that he relied on his boyfriend.

"Can we order pizza?" The smaller questioned gently, earning a smile from Chan. "Of course. What kind of pizza would you like?"

"Honey, we are more than happy to have you home, but," Lee Know's mother placed a cup of tea in front of her son as she sat down across from him. "Why do you look so distressed?"

After taking a sip of his drink, Lee Know sighed, "I'm wondering if bringing another person into Chan and I's relationship was a mistake."

Mrs. Lee furrowed her brows together as she questioned, "Are you saying you regret your relationship?"

"No, I love my relationship. I love Chan more than anything, and Jisung is my world."

Reaching over, Mrs. Lee took hold of Lee Know's hand, their eyes meeting for the first time this morning. "Then what's the problem, honey?"

Biting his lip, he thought of a way to tell his mother that Chan was being unreasonable without painting him to be a bad person.

"Honey, look." His mother started, knowing her son better than he wanted to admit.

"Speak with Chan. Have a genuine conversation about what you want this relationship to look like. And then talk with Jisung. You aren't going to get anywhere without speaking about it first."

Lee Know nodded, smiling gently, "Thanks, mom."

She returned his smile before taking a sip of her own drink.

"Now," She started after placing her cup down. "Tell me more about Jisung. I feel like I hardly know anything about him."

Lee Know's heart fluttered as he thought about his beloved. "He's very sweet, probably the sweetest person I've ever met. He's kind and gentle and loving. He loves to read. I think he's secretly a hopeless romantic but doesn't know how to express it."

Glancing down at his own cup of tea, the blonde smiled to himself. "I love him so much, mom. He's my world. I would do anything for him."

Mrs. Lee smiled, hearing her son talk so lovingly about someone made her heart fill with joy.

She's never heard him speak so strongly about someone. Lee Know loves Chan with everything in him, but he never speaks about him the way he speaks about Jisung.

Maybe he doesn't feel the need to with how deeply he loves the older, or maybe he loves Jisung more.

"How long are you planning on staying away from this lovely young man?" Mrs. Lee inquired, grinning as she could see the wheels turning in her son's head.

As much as she enjoyed his company, she wanted him to sort things out with his relationship.

"I'll go home tomorrow." Lee Know finally answered, nodding his head as if confirming the date in his own mind.

Lee Know figured he would discuss with Chan what he had done wrong first and then try and have a conversation with him about ground rules for the both of them.

He felt they needed new rules with the youngest now in their lives, rules that would ensure the safety and well-being of their beloved.

Even though Chan loved Jisung, Lee Know knew that love was not strong enough to prevent him from hurting the boy. Pain was a form of love for Chan. Lee Know knew this well, probably better than anybody.

He would never want to change Chan, he loved him for who he was. But he feels he has to draw the line with their beloved.

Jisung isn't accustomed to Chan's form of love. So until then, the blonde will have to make sure Chan dials it down so as to not overwhelm or harm the boy.
