"Can we talk about how you're doing?" Felix questioned over the phone, worried about his friend. This was the first time he'd heard from him since he was kidnapped, he wanted to ask all of the questions.
"I'm...okay." Jisung sighed, wondering if he should tell Felix everything that's happened to him. But he also didn't want the freckled boy to freak out and come back here to hurt anyone.
Now that everyone knows where Chan and Lee Know are, he's worried his friends are going to come back to take revenge or something if they find out the pain he's endured.
Felix sighed, "Please don't lie to me, Ji."
"I'm not lying. I'm okay. I've definitely been worse." Liar. There is nothing that can compare to the pain and suffering I've experienced because of Chan.
Another sigh left Felix's lips as he decided to not push the boy. He knew how sensitive he was. Maybe he didn't want to relive something.
"Tell me about you and Jeongin." Jisung tried to point the conversation toward the freckled boy, genuinely wanting to know all of the tea he has missed.
"Well," Felix began, trying to not smile too much because he knew Jisung would be able to hear it through the phone. "We've been talking a lot more. And, like, actually talking. He's not being his regular asshole self."
Jisung smiled gently as he imagined how cute Felix and the fox-like boy would be together. "Are you going to ask him out?"
"No. I'm waiting for him to ask me out." Jisung chuckled at his friend, "Wouldn't it be easier for you to do it?"
Felix scoffed playfully at the question, causing both boys to burst out with laughter.
The line fell silent before Felix spoke up with a sigh, "We've missed you, Ji. I've missed you."
"I've missed you guys, too. There have been so many times all I've wanted was to run to you and cry my heart out or tell you something exciting that's happened."
"I'm so sorry, Ji. I wish we could have been there for you. I can't even imagine how hard it's been on you." Felix's voice wavered towards the end, sounding as if he might cry. "I hope you haven't gone through too much pain."
Jisung could feel his eyes welling with tears as he croaked out, "Lix...it still hurts."
Felix sniffled back his own tears before questioning the smaller what hurt.
I'll kill that man if he actually hurt Ji, Felix thought to himself as he waited for his best friend to build up enough courage to tell him what had happened.
"Master, he...he took it from me. I was saving it for someone special, but he took it from me, Lix." Jisung choked back a sob, not wanting Chan or Lee Know to barge in if they heard him crying. "No matter how much time has passed, I can still...I have nightmares."
"Ji." Felix cried, not holding back his own tears as he processed what his best friend had just said. "Why didn't you say something? Seungmin and I would have taken you home, taken you away from that monster."
Jisung shook his head, silently crying to himself as he felt the need to defend his abuser. He felt the need the protect the man who's caused so much pain to him. He felt he had to defend the man he loved.
"Master is...he's not the nicest. And he doesn't show emotions how he should. But he loves me. I know he does."
"Ji, people like him can't love." Felix was almost enraged that his best friend was defending such a man. But he also knew how someone could be convinced that they had to in order to survive.
Jisung sniffled back his tears, "But Master does. They love me, Felix. I know they do. Especially Oppa. He's so kind and gentle. I can see in his eyes that he loves me more than anything else in the world."
"Ji-" "No, I...I'm going to go. I'll text you tomorrow." With that, he hung up and turned his phone on silent before placing it on the bedside table.
Rubbing his eyes, Jisung exited his room and began his descent down the stairs in order to find the older two males.
He finally found them in the kitchen, discussing something over tea.
Chan was the first to look over, his eyes filling with worry as he noticed the smaller's puffy eyes, "Doll, what's wrong?"
Jisung didn't say anything as he approached the oldest, looking up into his eyes for a moment before he engulfed him in a hug.
Chan was a little stunned, not expecting his beloved to hug him so randomly. He returned the hug regardless, glancing over at his boyfriend who was equally as confused and concerned.
Leaning back a little, Chan looked down at the boy, gently holding his jaw in place so that he couldn't look away. "Are you okay? Tell Master what's wrong."
"I love you." Jisung whispered, feeling a cocktail of emotions in his heart and stomach as he spoke the words.
After Chan had processed what his beloved had said, a smile began to tug at his lips, "You do?"
Jisung sniffled, the tears forming in his eyes again, as he nodded.
"Why are you crying, sweets?" Lee Know questioned as he walked over to the duo, resting his hand on the small of the boy's back.
Chan let go of the younger, allowing him to now hold onto Lee Know, burying his face in his chest. "I don't know." His words came out muffled, causing the older two to chuckle.
Even though Jisung was crying from his overwhelming emotions, Chan and Lee Know found the moment to be rather cute and endearing. Their beloved loved them back.
"Well, you know that Chan and I love you very much. Right, sweets?" Jisung only nodded against the blonde's chest.
Chan stood behind Jisung, wrapping his arms around both him and Lee Know. Jisung felt warmth engulfing him, and not just physically. His heart felt warm and fuzzy as he was sandwiched between the two males. He felt loved.
