a mini vacation

Lee Know pulled up outside the house, sighing as he wondered what had happened in the few hours he had been gone.

As he neared the front door, it swung open to reveal Jisung, a joyful expression on his face as he ran towards the blonde.

"Oppa!" Jisung shouted as he jumped into the blonde's arms.

Lee Know was shocked at the reaction, immediately pulling away to inspect the smaller for any sign of abuse. "Are you okay, sweets? Did anything happen?"

Jisung shook his head but allowed the male to inspect him nonetheless. "I just missed you, is all." The younger mumbled, feeling his cheeks light up at the words that fell from his lips.

The blonde blushed as well, his heart fluttering after hearing his beloved admit that he missed him.

As the two began to walk inside, Lee Know took hold of Jisung's hand, earning the boy's attention.

"I need to talk to Chan. Can you wait in your room for me?"

Jisung nodded, giving the older a soft smile, before rushing off to his room.

Lee Know found Chan on the couch, a wide smile appearing on his face as he noticed the blonde.

"Love, you're back." Chan embraced the younger in a hug, so happy to have his boyfriend back home.

"I'm only here for a little bit. Just to talk with you and then I'm taking Jisung with me to my parent's house."

Chan's face fell, confusion and betrayal evident in his eyes. "You want to take him away?"

Sighing, the blonde gestured for the duo to sit down, "Let's talk first, honey."

He wasn't exactly sure where to start, or how upset it would make Chan, but Lee Know knew they needed to have this conversation.

"I don't appreciate how you've been treating our beloved and how you've convinced me to do the same."

Lee Know avoided eye contact with the older, scared to look into those piercing eyes as he continued, "We agreed to protect him, to show him how it feels to be loved. You've done everything but."

Chan sat there for a moment, processing what his boyfriend was saying.

So, this is all because I treat Jisung differently than how he does?

"What exactly are you wanting to change?" Chan questioned, not really sure what the blonde was hinting at. Aside from the fact that he was the bad guy.

Lee Know sighed, "I want you to stop being so harsh towards Jisung. He's afraid of you. There's no need for us to protect and love him if you're the one he's running from."

"Are you really taking him away?" Chan questioned gently, wanting to change the subject, his eyes glued to his fiddling thumbs.

The blonde nodded, "Just for a few days. As a little vacation for Jisung. I think he needs to be away from you for a little bit. Plus, mother really wants to meet him."

Chan nodded, feeling really upset that Lee Know wanted to take his beloved away from him, but he didn't feel now was the appropriate time to argue about it.

"I think while we're away, this can give you some time to reflect." Taking his boyfriend's hand in his own, Lee Know added, "I love you for you, honey. But Jisung doesn't know the you that I know. And he can't if you keep only showing him your cruel side."

After sitting with his boyfriend for a moment, Lee Know excused himself, allowing Chan some time to process their conversation.

Venturing up the stairs, the blonde knocked on Jisung's door before entering. "Hi, sweets."

Jisung smiled at the older, "Hi, Oppa."

Glancing towards the younger's closet, Lee Know informed Jisung he would need to pack some clothes.

"Where are we going?" Jisung inquired, curious as to where they could all be going that they would need to pack.

"You and I are going to stay with my parents for a few days. Think of it as a mini vacation."

Jisung's eyebrows furrowed together in confusion, causing Lee Know to become nervous that he would deny the offer.

Has Chan somehow brainwashed him into not wanting to leave this house without him?

"Mother really wants to meet you. She's excited to meet the boy I speak so highly of."

The brunette's eyes lit up at the older's words, Lee Know immediately blushing as he realized he confessed that he speaks about Jisung.

"Why isn't Master coming along?" Jisung questioned as he got up to help Lee Know pack his belongings.

Lee Know bit his lip, wanting to avoid the question. "We'll discuss that later."

Jisung only nodded but was left confused. He was under the impression that the duo did big things, such as vacations and outings, together. So it seemed odd for the blonde to want to take him to do something big like this on their own without Chan tagging along.

After Lee Know finished helping Jisung pack, the pair began their descent down the stairs.

Chan was still glued to the couch, already processing his boyfriend's words from earlier. He wasn't happy about them in the slightest.

As he noticed the two come downstairs, he finally stood up.

"We'll be back in a few days, honey. Really think about what I said, okay?" Lee Know leaned forward to place a kiss on Chan's lips, smiling gently as he turned to leave.

The older's eyes met Jisung's, who seemed reluctant to leave. But he would anyway. Jisung was more than happy to spend a few days without the older.

Even though Chan seemed to be evolving into a kinder person toward Jisung, he knew he wasn't.

It was all a front to persuade Jisung into trusting the older male. Chan wants Jisung to let his guard down so that he can swoop in and break him all over again.

"Have fun, doll." Chan smiled at the brunette, earning a weak smile in return.

Once Lee Know and Jisung exited the house, Chan let out a sigh.

Reaching into his pocket, he pulled out his phone before dialing a recent phone number.

Chan waited patiently for the line to connect before hearing the male on the other end speak, "Sir?"

"Bring them to me." His tone was dull as if he were tired of playing a game.

The male on the other end hummed, "Yes, sir."
