"Father?" Jisung called out quietly, kind of shocked to see his father.
Chan sighed as he stood up, calling the manager of the restaurant over.
The duo spoke for a moment before the manager was walking off towards Mr. Han.
"I'm going to have to ask you to leave, sir."
Mr. Han began to refuse, not wanting to leave without his son. But he was soon shut down as three men approached the duo, escorting the male out of the building.
Jisung noticed how the three men weren't dressed like the rest of the staff, their dark suits sticking out like a sore thumb compared to the relaxed style of the restaurant.
As they exited the building, the people inside began to go about with their business, the room erupting with laughter and voices echoing off the walls.
Taking his seat, Chan smiled gently at his boyfriend and beloved, "Let's go back to our date, shall we?"
Jisung's mind was filled with so many questions, the most prominent one being why the three men looked so...intimidating. Almost like they worked for a mafia.
"Doll?" Chan called out, earning the smaller's attention. "Hm?"
"Do you think you'd be able to stomach anything? We can order you some soup if that would be easier on your stomach."
Chan's voice sounded so gentle, it almost made Jisung want to cry. He didn't understand how just a few days ago, the same man was making him cry out in agony.
"Soup would be okay." Jisung smiled up at the older, who then called for the waiter.
Chan placed all three of their orders, the waiter smiling gently before walking off.
Jisung's thoughts went back to the three men, and how Chan was able to call for someone so quickly.
Does he know the restaurant's manager? Does he know those men? Why were they all so quick to push my father out? Why-
"Doll?" Chan called out once more, resting his hand over Jisung's. "Is everything alright?"
Jisung only nodded, a small amount of fear building inside of him.
A similar kind of fear he felt once he met Chan face to face.
"Are you sure, sweets? You're a little pale." Lee Know's eyes shone with concern, Jisung wondering if he could confide in the blonde.
But he knew he couldn't. He'd just tell Chan.
Jisung knew he had no one to confide in anymore.
"I'm okay." Jisung's voice was small and full of fear, which didn't go unnoticed.
Lee Know glanced at Chan, pleading for the older to talk to their beloved.
Chan was weary, knowing the smaller wasn't fond of him.
But Lee Know only kicked the male under the table, causing him to groan from pain.
Finally standing up, Chan held his hand out for Jisung to take, "Come with me, doll."
Jisung was hesitant but decided to do as the older wished.
Chan lead the smaller towards the bathroom, Jisung's heart pounding in his chest.
As they entered, the older locked the door before turning to face the frightened boy.
"Would you like to talk, doll?" His voice was soft and gentle as his eyes scanned the boy's figure.
He wanted the younger to be vulnerable in front of him, he wanted Jisung to trust him, even if for a moment.
Jisung just shook his head, not wanting to tell the older that he was afraid.
Jisung was afraid of Chan, he would always be afraid of him.
Sighing softly, Chan slowly advanced toward the boy, watching as he backed up with every step.
Once Jisung's back was flush with the wall, Chan rested both of his hands on either side of the younger's head.
"Come now, doll. Tell Master what's on your mind."
Jisung gulped, loving but hating whenever the older referred to himself as 'Master.'
"Who were those men?" The younger's voice was small, trembling with fear.
"They work for me, in a sense."
As the wheels turned inside Jisung's mind, Chan's eyes trailed down to admire the collar around the boy's neck.
Reaching up, he played with the material of the collar, earning a gentle whimper from the smaller.
"Don't be afraid, doll. Nothing is going to happen to you."
"What about my father?" Jisung voiced out his concerns, Chan's eyes snapping up to meet the smaller's frightful ones.
"He won't be causing you any more pain."
Looping his finger inside the collar, Chan pulled Jisung's face closer to his.
Jisung's breath hitched in the back of his throat, his eyes searching the loving, and slightly sad, eyes of the male in front of him.
"Nobody is going to tear us apart. You're finally home with Lee Know and I, and I'm not going to allow anyone to take you away."
Sighing to himself, Chan placed a soft kiss on the smaller's forehead, "We'll have a discussion as a group whenever we get home, okay?"
Jisung could only nod, admiring the older's features.
Whenever he's not being cruel, he's rather attractive, Jisung thought to himself.
Taking the boy's hand in his, he began to leave the bathroom.
Jisung followed him, his mind focusing on the way his hand felt linked with Chan's.
Shortly after the duo sat back down, their food arrived.
Lee Know beamed brightly, rather excited about their meal.
He was enjoying the time spent with his boyfriend and beloved.
He was hoping that this would become a regular occurrence, wishing that the three of them could soon become close.
Maybe he could begin to convince Jisung to trust him and Chan.
Maybe with enough love, he'd want to be with them.
