"Han Jisung!" The principal of the school beamed, smiling warmly as Jisung walked across the stage to receive his diploma.
Cheering from his friends and fellow students could be heard throughout the auditorium, causing Jisung's cheeks to flush.
Jisung can't believe he's graduated, that he's finally done with high school.
As he walked back down to his seat, he could feel those eyes watching him.
Did they come to my graduation? He questioned to himself, looking around to see if he could notice anybody.
But the crowd was far too large for him to notice anyone in particular.
As Jisung took his seat with Felix and Seungmin, the duo noticed his uneasy demeanor.
"Do you feel them?" Seungmin whispered, watching Jisung slowly nod his head.
"Why would they come to graduation?" Felix followed up, ready to go looking for the gym rat in question.
Seungmin and Felix were soon called up to receive their diplomas, telling the boy they'd be right back.
Jisung didn't have a good feeling about those eyes being at his graduation.
The feeling went from uneasy to frightened as he considered that maybe it was a stalker and not just his imagination.
Jisung's been trying to tell himself for the past few weeks that this was all just him being paranoid, that nobody was really watching him.
Maybe Mr. Seo's friend being at the restaurant was just a coincidence to the feeling of those eyes.
But the longer he sat there with them piercing into him, the more he came to realize that he wasn't being paranoid.
Not without reason, anyway.
-
As Jisung walked the stage, Chan and Lee Know clapped, proud of their beloved for surviving high school.
"I'm so proud of him." Lee Know cooed as he hugged Chan's arm.
Chan smiled gently, "I am too."
The duo could see Jisung gaze around the room, his body tense as he waited for his friends to come back from the stage.
"I think he can sense that we're here, honey." The younger pouted, "He looks so afraid."
"He's just tense from the stressful day of graduation." Chan brushed off the boy's fear, knowing very well that he was frightened.
Ever since the restaurant, Jisung's been on edge. And Chan can tell.
But it's okay. Everything will be okay after tomorrow.
Lee Know and Chan watched as the two boys from the restaurant approached Jisung, talking with the younger.
Chan's blood boiled, anger filling his mind until the duo hugged Jisung.
"I'm confused." Lee Know mumbled, blinking in confusion as he watched the scene.
Jisung's friends soon came walking up, one of them holding hands with the taller of the two bullies.
"Enemies to lovers, I guess." Chan spoke softly, confused by the situation but glad the two weren't causing any more trouble.
Chan didn't want to have to ruin Jisung's big day just because of a couple of assholes.
"Come on, love. Let's go home. We have a lot of preparing to do before tomorrow."
The blonde nodded, taking one last look at their beloved before following his boyfriend out.
"I wish we could take him home today." Lee Know sighed as he caught up to Chan, intertwining their fingers together.
"I know, love. But he still hasn't had his party yet. Let him have some fun."
As they reached their car, Chan grinned towards the younger, "We can have some fun of our own tonight, if you'd like."
Lee Know blushed, nodding his head shyly.
The older only chuckled, opening the passenger side door for the boy so that he could climb in.
As Chan took his place in the driver's seat, Lee Know spoke up, "Honey?"
Chan hummed before starting the car and beginning their ride home.
"How are we going to bring Jisung home? What's your plan?"
"I figured that we would catch him on his way to his parent's house tomorrow, that way we aren't interrupting his celebration with his friends." Chan stated, noticing how his boyfriend seemed to look worried.
Placing his hand onto his lover's thigh, he smiled gently, "Don't worry, love. We'll get Jisung home safe and sound."
"Promise?" Lee Know questioned, knowing how his boyfriend can be.
Chan tends to be a bit more aggressive with certain things, and he's worried that he'll harm Jisung on their way home. Not intentionally, but Chan isn't a very gentle person by nature.
"I promise."
Liar.
