Chan pulled up to a small building, reminiscent of an apartment complex. Jisung glanced over at him, questioning softly, "What are we doing here?"
After shifting into park, Chan turned towards the brunette, his eyes hesitant but determined as he spoke, "Hannah is going to apologize to you if she wants to start gaining the trust of the family back."
Jisung played with the hems of his sweater paws, his heart pounding. "Can't she just relay the message to you? Why do I have to see her?" He was scared, to be honest. She did want to kill him, what's to say she won't try to hurt him once more?
Chan reached over, taking one of the smaller's hands into his own, "She isn't going to hurt you, doll. I promise. Plus, I'll be with you the entire time." Jisung only nodded in response before they got out of the car. He didn't feel he had much of a choice, so he just had to hope this was quick and easy.
As they approached the building, Jisung could see some of Chan's men walking around the area, almost as if they were keeping guard. And once inside, Jisung realized that they were.
The outside may appear to be a small apartment complex, but it hides some dark secrets. Some rooms appeared to be for counting money, some looked like meeting areas, and others were blocked off by large doors with locks. He didn't want to know what could be hiding behind those.
But that was where Chan and Jisung had stopped, Jisung staring at one of the large locked doors.
Chan rested his hand on the small of the boy's back before speaking softly, "Say your safe word if you need to leave, doll." Jisung could only nod, not trusting that his voice would work properly with how terrified he was.
The door opened, revealing Hannah sitting at a table, her hands folded together on top of the furniture as they were handcuffed together. Her eyes pierced through Jisung as he sat opposite her, Chan standing behind him with his hands resting on the boy's shoulders.
The room fell silent as Hannah continued to stare at Jisung, causing the smaller to feel rather uncomfortable. He was about to question why she was staring but she spoke up first, "I can see why you like him. He's very dainty. You've always liked the pretty ones."
Chan seemed unamused by her words, but it really affected Jisung. With how their relationship started, he'll always feel insecure around the older male and their dynamic. Words like hers don't help his emotions, either, especially towards himself.
"If you're not going to apologize, we're leaving." Chan spoke blankly, causing Hannah to roll her eyes, "Can't I get to know this new toy of yours first?"
Chan was about to tell Jisung that they were leaving, but the smaller rested his hand on top of the male's, his eyes still gazing back at the girl across from him. "If you apologize, we can get to know each other."
"Doll." Chan started but was cut off by Hannah, "Deal." Leaning back into her seat, she continued, "I'm sorry for trying to kill you. And pointing a gun at you. That must have been scary."
Jisung searched her eyes for any sign that she was lying, but she seemed to be sincere. "I accept your apology." The brunette responded before glancing up at Chan, "Sunflower." Chan nodded, guiding Jisung out of the room almost immediately.
"Wait, you said-" "I didn't say it'd be today." Jisung responded with a quick glance back at the girl, noticing the smirk tugging at her lips. He almost didn't catch what she said as they left the room, her voice laced with amusement as she responded, "That was sly. I like this one."

"I do not like the idea of that, sweets. No." Lee Know spoke sternly as he made dinner, trying to keep his composure so that he didn't mess up their meal.
"Why not?" Jisung whined, not understanding why Lee Know didn't want him to get to know Hannah better. It's not like she's a threat anymore, she's kept under lock and key.
Chan entered the kitchen, his brows furrowed in confusion as he questioned what was wrong. "Our beloved wants to get closer to Hannah, he wants to befriend her." Lee Know spoke in a tone that made Jisung out to be crazy.
The oldest turned his attention to the brunette, who was avoiding everyone's glaring eyes. "Doll? Is this true?" Jisung only nodded, causing Chan to sigh as he approached the boy, tilting his head up, "Tell Master why and we can discuss it."
"Chan!" Lee Know shouted with a scoff, "You cannot be serious! She tried to kill him."
Jisung placed his attention back on the male in front of him, gazing up into his eyes as the older waited for an answer, "You said she's trying to gain the family's trust back. Aren't I family?"
"Doll, you are the most important person in this family. But I think she needs to gain the trust of the others before yours." Chan spoke, his hand moving to rest against the smaller's cheek. Jisung melted into the touch but stood firm. He wanted to show everyone that this girl was just misled. He can't help but feel that, deep down, Hannah is still a good person. But Jisung tends to see the good in people, sometimes to his own fault.
"Please? I'm not saying I'd go alone or that it'll go anywhere, but I want to give her a chance." Jisung spoke softly, seeing the hesitancy in the older's eyes. "I gave you and Oppa a chance. Why can't I give others in the family one?"
Chan sighed, knowing what cards Jisung was playing. And he understood because as Jisung said, the younger did give Lee Know and him a chance. Against all odds and after everything Chan had done, and knowing what he could do, Jisung gave him a chance.
"Okay, doll." Chan finally gave in, earning the loudest groan of frustration from Lee Know as he stormed off, ignoring their dinner. Chan rolled his eyes at his boyfriend before continuing, "You won't be allowed to go unless I'm with you, and you'll use your safeword if things go somewhere you aren't comfortable with. I'm also allowed to pull you out if I feel like it. Do you understand?"
Jisung nodded, "Yes, master." Chan hummed, pulling the younger into a gentle hug. Sitting with Hannah and Jisung was going to be difficult for him, but if this is what his beloved wants, then he can learn to handle it. Because Chan really does love him, and he's still willing to learn how to prove that to the precious boy in his arms.
