"You, however, have no right."

Within moments, almost every person in that room had their weapons drawn and pointed at her.

Lee Know quickly pulled Jisung to stand behind him, his hands keeping themselves on the boy's waist to ensure he didn't move.

"Hannah." Chan warned, his voice full of anger. But she ignored him.

"Move, Lee Know." Hannah ordered, the blonde shaking his head in response.

"Move, or I'll shoot you." She spoke through gritted teeth.

"Shoot me, then." Lee Know countered, knowing she wouldn't. She'd be dead the second she pulled that trigger, and she wouldn't even have shot the person she intended to kill.

Hannah groaned, "God damn it, Lee. Don't protect this whore. Let me do my job and move!"

Job? Jisung, Lee Know, and Chan all seemed to question at the same time.

This must be the faceless threat we received. It was her? But why? Chan pondered for a second before stepping in her direct line of sight.

"Shoot me." Chan offered, shoving his hands into his pockets.

"Master." Jisung whispered, wanting to move from his spot but was prevented from doing so by Lee Know.

Hannah cocked her gun, the sound of every other gun being cocked echoing shortly after.

"Go on." Chan egged the girl on, knowing she wouldn't shoot him.

Hannah groaned, throwing her head back in frustration, letting her guard down for a split second.

Chan's right hand man quickly swept Hannah off her feet with one kick, the girl falling to the floor with a groan.

He had the gun tossed toward Chan's feet and Hannah's arms pinned behind her back within seconds, pulling the girl to her feet harshly.

"I'll give you one chance to tell me what this job of yours is." Chan spoke in a cold tone as he bent down to pick up her gun, handing it off to one of his men.

Hannah huffed, blowing a piece of hair out of her face with a grin, "Or what?"

Nodding his head at his right hand man, Chan ordered for him to get answers.

The man was quickly nodding as he pulled Hannah down the stairs and out of the building, most of Chan's men following suit.

Lee Know turned to face Jisung, hugging the smaller closely as he felt he could finally breathe.

Jisung accepted the warm embrace, his heart pounding inside his chest as he felt scared. Based on the rapid sound coming from Lee Know's own chest, he could tell the older was feeling a similar way.

"Are you okay?" The blonde was questioning as he pulled away, placing his hands on either side of Jisung's face.

The smaller nodded, whispering, "That was scary."

All Lee Know could do was nod, pulling the boy back into a hug.

He didn't know if he could realistically let go of the boy. He was so worried for a moment there that they could actually lose their beloved. How do you let go of someone after that?

Chan approached the duo, hesitantly placing his hands on both male's backs. "Are you guys ready to go home?"

Jisung pulled away from the blonde, looking up at Chan for a moment before he began pounding his fists against the older's chest.

The older quickly grabbed his wrists, worry filling his tone as he questioned what was wrong.

The brunette began to sob as he rested his head against the male's chest, his wrists still confined in the older's grasp. "Why do you both have to play hero? Next time just let me die. I'm not worth it."

Lee Know and Chan exchanged glances, both of their hearts breaking at their beloved's words.

The blonde placed his hands on the boy's waist, resting his head on his shoulder as he spoke softly, "Please don't say that, sweets. You're the most important thing in our lives."

Jisung began to sob harder, Chan finally letting go of his wrists so that he could wrap his arms around both males.

He hushed Jisung before placing a chaste kiss on the smaller's hair, "Let's go home, doll. Hm?"

Chan entered a room to see Hannah tied to a chair, her head hung low while her hair covered her face.

Four of his men stood around the room, waiting on their boss' orders. They had already tried to extract some information from the girl, but stopped once Chan entered the building.

Lifting the girl's face up while harshly grasping her chin, Chan glanced over her features. Her face was already fairly bruised, some blood dripping out of her nose.

Her eyes stared back at Chan, a mixture of emotions being shown in them.

"Family meant something once." She spoke softly, her voice hoarse.

Chan hummed, dropping the girl's face as he went to lean on the wall opposite her, "You stopped being family when you left."

Flipping her hair back, Hannah huffed, "I wouldn't have left if you had just given in to The Kim's wishes. It's stupid to fight over something so small as clients and-"

"Father worked hard for what this family has. I'm not giving it up to some flock of pussies just because they don't want to work for anything." Chan interrupted her, upset his own sister didn't appreciate what their father did for them.

Pushing himself off the wall, he slowly approached Hannah with a sigh, "If you give up exactly who ordered this, you can work on gaining the family's trust once more. I'll wipe your slate clean."

Crouching down to be more eye level with the girl, Chan added, "If you decline, I hope your people hold beautiful memorials."

A chill was sent down Hannah's spine as his words sank in.

Hannah sighed, feeling defeated, "Fine."

Chan grinned, standing up to wave his men over. "Nobody leaves until she gives up every detail."

They all nodded as Chan turned to leave the room, but not before Hannah piped up with one more question, "Do you really love him?"
