Karma : The Eyes Of Justice

Chapter 9 : Completing quests

"Aren't you the investigators?" Asked the man, they nodded their heads and then the man asks"why are you here? Do you need something?" In a humble way, they get relaxed and kyun asks," Have you heard about karma? The man Nods his head then kyun says,"karma said to us that he is fighting for justice and for Rejected town so we wanted to know if you might know who karma is? Please don't get angry." "Huh?, No no why would I be angry i followed you because you ran nothing else, well we don't know karma and one more thing is that we have never seen karma in this town, and please don't call it rejected town, we hate this name call it by its original name 'Sina town'" kyun replies,"ok ok".

Kyun and Ryu then get to know that yes there is no clue here "we have to think of something to catch that person. I'm sure he is someone from upper agency." Says kyun. Ryu replies but can't be be someone you knew in past? Maybe?" Kyun says,"I've never made friends in childhood, not because i liked it but because my father always had a transfer". They both were very confused for what to do because they now don't have the more investigators with them, their friends, no one.

In the agency mask calls karma and Ryu in his office which is in a different city. They both then secretly go to that city where they go to the location mask told them to come to and then when they reached the location it was a small building of 2 floors each floor had 1 room, it was more like a single house. They then enter the room where sofa's were kept they were told to sit there and switch off the phones or any other electronic devices. Then the sign of 'M' that represents mask comes on the screen which was in front of them. Mask starts with,"Nice to meet you, I'm mask, and i am going to give you some orders right now they are very important keep it your uppermost priority right now, once I'll finish I'll let you talk. So then listen to me. You both have to do 1 things kyun i want you to go to rejected town visit a location that I'll tell you and bring that man here. Ryu ,I want you to go to the country South Korea where one of my old investigator lives and he says that he has got some files that should come here so you have to go there take it and come back here. Now the reason I'm selecting you to do this instead of someone is just because when you will visit they will teach you many things that are useless for others. You understand? They both reply,"yes sir" then mask asks ,"Any questions?" Kyun says,"Who is the person we're going to meet?" Mask says,"you'll get it once you reach, any more questions?" They say,"no" then mask says,"okay then your goal, location, some other things to do all that is in the list on sheets kept on the maze in your left. We will now directly talk 2 weeks later. All the best" mask ends the call. They both take their sheets of list and check it. Kyun says,"He is really something. He is taking precaution by not showing his face and i know that the voice is fake and no electric devices were allowed. " Ryu says,"let's get to work then"
Kyun replies with energy,"See you when you return, bye" Ryu says,"I'll inform you when I return bye"

Then they both start doing their works, at this time Ryu was not but kyun was so curious that why did he decided 2 weeks later. It would take me around a day maximum and 2 to 4 days to Ryu maximum. Kyun understands there is something more to it. As kyun enters the rejected town and moves according to the location he was told to, the places started becoming more dense and dark. After some minutes of walking there was an underground path where kyun enters. Kyun was walking with a torch and suddenly he hears a sound. He looks behind but nothing was there. He hears the sound again and again.When he turns back , a rushing log smashes kyun's head.

On the other side when Ryu reaches the country he checks the list again and one task was there which was to visit a cafe and take a piece of note from there which will help Ryu to meet that person mask talked about. Ryu enters the cafe and he sees the cafe was empty and just one waiter was there. Ryu goes to him asks for the piece of note and the man says, "Please wait for a while" the waiter turns and enters a room where he takes a note but when he gets out and hands the note to Ryu, he smiles and grins and the grin was kind of scary which made Ryu nervous. Then ryu walks out of the cafe.
