"So these creatures are your pets?" Drela asked after walking for a while. Her whole face was still a smile and Aitan couldn't help but smile at it. She was looking and Marco and Noah.
"Yes," Aitan said and pointed at Noah. "He is mine and the other is Bewo's."
"Oh, so your name is Bewo?" Drela asked and turned to Bewo. "That is wonderful. Are you brothers or just friends? Maybe together?"
"Oh no," Aitan laughed. "Bewo is my brother, yeah. We aren't together. We were sent here to find a mate."
Aitan loved to see Drela's eyes light up the way they did when he said that.
"All commanders should know, why we are here, by now," Bewo said.
"Well," Drela said and looked down. Her smile faded but it was still there. "I'm not officially a commander yet. My people call me that because they think it fits me."
"The people of Keena think that?" Bewo asked.
"Yes," Drela said and nodded. Her smile was back. "But the other commanders don't think it's a good idea. They think I should take the tests to become a commander first. Only if I accomplish all of them I can become a commander."
"Bewo and I know all about that," Aitan said. "We have tried many times to become commanders."
"Oh?" Drela let out. "You must be high up if you have tried so many times." By high up she meant the ranks. She was completely right.
"We are the sons of a commander," Aitan proudly said.
"Same here, big boy," Ihoja let out with a smirk. It wasn't a friendly or playful smirk. She looked dangerous.
"And here," Drela said.
"Are you family?" Bewo asked looking between Drela and Ihoja. Of course, they are! Aitan thought. They look just like each other!
"She is my sister, dumbass," Ihoja said and smacked him teasingly on the back of his head.
Well... if anything was legal in Keena then there is a chance that they are together, Bewo thought.
That reminds him... Aitan doesn't know about their rules.
"Could one of you explain your rules?" Bewo asked. "Aitan does not know them."
Oh no, rules, Aitan thought. Oh well, time to bend some rules-
"There are no rules," Ihoja said. What? "That's the short way of saying it."
"Of course, we have rules, Ihoja," Drela said. Her voice was a bit more strict when she said that. "Rule number one: everything is legal if you have an acceptable reason for your actions. Rule number two: don't live the life of Keena any other place than Keena."
"What do you mean in rule number one?" Aitan asked.
"Keena has the same rules as Ponnarrah has," Drela answered. "But rule number one and two is above that. That means you can't harm someone unless you have an acceptable reason."
