"You are in a good mood," Noah commented when Marco stepped into Noah's enclosure with a huge smile on his face. "Let me hear the good news."

Marco squatted down right in front of where Noah sat.

"I am not pregnant," Marco said with a huge smile.

"I had a nightmare last night," Noah let out. They were sitting by a table and eating. "It was about Aitan."

"Yeah?" Marco let out softly. "Wanna talk about it?"

"Yeah-um... He blamed me for his death," Noah said and cleared his throat, trying not to show how much it had affected him. "Before Aitan went to war he asked for permission between the lines... and I gave him permission. He died because of me." Noah tried hard to hold the facade but he broke completely down at the end.

Marco was quickly there to support him. Marco ended up sitting with Noah crying into his shoulder and chest. Noah was hugging Marco and Marco was hugging Noah sideways.

"It's going to be okay, Noah," Marco let out softly and leaned his head protectively on top of Noah's head. "I'm here. I'll always be here."

Marco looked at Noah's food. Noah had only taken one bite before he had begun talking about his nightmare.

Noah was sleeping in Marco's lap and Marco felt hungry. He had eaten his own food while Noah had slept but he was still hungry.

Bewo had fed himself from Marco yesterday and Marco was drained in ways that could only be imagined.

Marco knew they could easily get food if they asked for it so he began eating Noah's food.

He felt guilty but knew it was okay. Noah would have allowed him.

Marco couldn't even stop himself when he tasted the food. He just wanted more.
