Noah took the chance and ran for his dear life.

But how in the world could he even have thought that he would actually make it?

The monsters before him had him figured out and barricaded the way with their bodies.

Noah stopped already giving up. He walked backward as the others in front of him stepped closer. He soon felt rough hands grab him from behind. They put him to a halt, and he couldn't move.

"Noah, right?" the alien behind him said as he grabbed Noah's throat and made him look at the ceiling to where the tall alien's eyes were. "Aitan's human, right?"

Noah tried desperately to fight back but was far from strong enough.

"I think he needs to learn," one of the aliens said.

"Punish him," another one said.

That was when they heard someone run down the hallway Noah and the other alien had just come from.

"Have you seen-" Aitan let out panicked but stopped when seeing Noah in another alien's grasp. He was relieved that Noah hadn't run further away. His father would be disappointed if he lost the human on the first day.

"We got him," the alien that held Noah said.

"What happened?" Aitan asked as he took the human.

"He tricked me. He was yelling on the other side of the door saying there was a fire, and he couldn't breathe," the alien said. "What should I have done? I couldn't just leave him if there really was a fire."

"...You are right," Aitan said but with a hint of fury that he had let his human escape. He truly couldn't be mad at the other. If there really had been a fire Noah would've died, if it wasn't because of the other alien. And they did catch Noah at last anyways. They might not do that next time though... He had to be more careful. "Come on, Noah."

He grabbed the human's wrist harder than intended and dragged Noah along.

On their way, they saw Bewo, and they ended up walking along with him. Bewo had a smile on his face as they walked.

"He didn't want any food?" Aitan asked.

"I'm sure he wanted some but..." Bewo chuckled a bit before continuing. "his pride got in the way."

"Did he attack you?" Aitan smiled.

"Surprisingly he didn't," Bewo said.

"Oh, that's already progress, brother," Aitan said. "That's more than I can say." Aitan glanced down at Noah and the human felt guilty.

"What happened?" Bewo chuckled.

"He ran away," Aitan sighed. "Some guards caught him, luckily."

"On the first day and you already-"

"Shut up, Bewo," Aitan smiled. Bewo gave out another chuckle. "You know what, Bewo? You should bring Marco."

"... You mean as in being- oh, you are evil, Aitan!" Bewo laughed. "I'll get him."

Bewo soon stopped at a door and dialed in the code. Aitan and Noah kept going. When the door opened Noah heard a faint voice inside the room telling Bewo to fuck off.
