"No!" Noah yelled at Aitan. "You don't understand! I'm done! I don't want you anymore! It's too late! You betrayed me. You think I don't have feelings but I do!"

"Noah, please," Aitan tried. He attempted to get closer but Noah grabbed a chair and placed it between them to keep distance. "Drela and I are just talking sometimes. We haven't been intimate. I beg of you. Don't be mad."

"Admit it!" Noah yelled while Aitan tried to calm him by speaking softly. "You don't love me. You don't like me anymore. You hate me. You are disgusted when you see me!"

Tears were streaming down from Noah's eyes. Aitan had guessed and been told that tears were a sign of sadness, anger, stress, and happiness. Noah was nowhere near happy.

"How can I prove that I still love you? I was angry and sad when I said I didn't want you. Noah, I didn't mean it," Aitan said and tried to get closer again. Noah hissed at him and pushed the chair toward him in a sign to keep his distance. "Noah, if I have to be honest-"

"Yes," Noah growled. "Tell me," he hissed.

"Keena is a place where you can do whatever you want-"

"I know that! And that is not the problem right now! THE PROBLEM IS-"

"NOAH!" Aitan yelled and interrupted his human. Noah flinched and shut it at the sudden irritation that shone through Aitan. "I want you! I want you for the rest of my life! I want you to be a parent with me. I dream of a life with you and our children. Please! I've been trapped on Cannarrah my whole life. I feel free in Keena. I can do whatever I want. I am interested in females because I've barely ever seen one before. I'm just curious about them. I don't want them. I want you, Noah. And I want you to combine with me. I want us to be one."

Noah took a step back.

"Children?" Noah breathed.

"Yes, please," Aitan said and finally got past the chair. "I hummed with you. I explained how it works to you. It's a way to ask the other to be a part of you. A part of their soul. A bond that can't be broken." Aitan got down on his knees in front of the human. He placed his hands on Noah's shoulders. "I will ask you again, Noah. I will hum with you again. I will plead and beg but it is your choice. Yours and only yours."

Noah couldn't move. He couldn't speak. His tears were still falling and it became worse when he heard Aitan softly hum the melody they had hummed together.

There were about ten seconds of complete silence except for Aitan's calm and soft hum.

"Please," Aitan pleaded. "I beg of you."

He hummed again. Their eyes were locked on one another.

Aitan even started the melody over when Noah didn't make a sound. Aitan hummed it all over again in the hopes Noah would hum with him.
