Bewo opened the door to where he had last seen Marco.

His eyes quickly found... his brother!?

Aitan was sitting on the floor with Marco on his lap, holding him in his arms. Noah was there too, sitting next to Aitan. Noah was leaning down onto one of Aitan's thighs.

"Shhh..." Aitan whispered to Bewo when he saw his brother enter. "They are sleeping."

Aitan brushed Marco's jaw softly as he nudged Noah's back too.

"Why are you here?" Bewo whispered as he carefully stepped closer.

He softly sat down next to Aitan. He looked at Marco's peaceful expression. He felt so pleased seeing him being all right.

"You wrote to me that Marco was here. I thought that he might have wanted some company," Aitan said. "So, I came to visit. He was very shaken up though. He said Kajeel had attacked him."

Bewo remembered it now. Yeah, just as I left Marco, I wrote to him.

"But I don't know if that is right," Aitan whispered softly. "I only found this small cut on his forearm. Nothing more than that." Aitan caressed Marco's neck softly and ran a finger along his jaw. "He was so tired when I came here. He almost fell, sleeping, into my arms," Aitan whispered and chuckled softly. "Maybe it was a bad dream?"

"He wasn't attacked by Kajeel," Bewo said softly as he reached out for Marco. He caressed him with soft strokes. "It was an aspera. He is gone now though."

"An aspera!?" Aitan said, making Noah move a bit. Noah let out a soft groan as he opened his eyes a bit. "Sorry, Noah. Go back to sleep," Aitan said softly and smiled at his human.

Noah snuck closer to Aitan as he let out a small 'yeah'. His eyes closed and his breathing quickly became slower.

"Yeah..." Bewo whispered. "I woke up having Marco by my side. But the real Marco was here all along. The aspera wanted my DNA and had an affair with me."

"What?" Aitan whispered in disbelief.

"I thought it was Marco all along. There were a few weird things, but I thought it was just human."

"Did it get your DNA?" Aitan asked. "Is it still alive?"

"Yes, it got it and yes it's still alive."

"We have to find it then-"

"No, I promised not to hunt or kill it."

"Why!?"

"It tricked me... kind of. It said that it might've killed Marco or injured him badly," Bewo said. "I had to find Marco as quickly as possible then. I wanted to bring Hevero so he could heal him but that went out of my hand, and I had to find Marco myself.

I made a deal with the aspera. He would tell me where Marco was, and I wouldn't attack or watch him. He promised to get away from this planet as quickly as possible."

"Bewo, he will come back," Aitan said in a serious tone. "He'll come back and that might be the end of us. He will trick all of us. The aspera would come back as Bewo."

"I know it's bad-"

"Bewo, we must tell father. We can't trust you anymore. Bewo, I'm sorry," Aitan said. "For all I know... you could be the aspera."
