Warning!: swearing, violence, abuse, lack of consent, angst, drug, rape?
Marco had walked over to Bewo. He just lay there. He wasn't moving. Had he fainted? No, the look in Aitan's eyes, when he came in, told a different story. Had they fought?
"Bewo?" Marco called softly.
He knelt, hoping that Bewo wouldn't jump right up and scare him.
"Bewo, are you okay?" Marco let out softly. "Hey? Wake up."
Marco shook him lightly. Nothing happened.
"Bewo-"
"BEWO!" a voice shouted from the other room, cutting Marco off.
Noah was the only thing Marco could think of. He sounded scared.
"MARCO!"
Marco's heart dropped. Memories of Kajeel were suddenly there. But Noah wasn't being raped. They were only Marco, Noah, and the brothers.
A muffled scream cut right through Marco's body.
Noah needed help. Now.
Marco ran to the door. He had seen and observed the codes. But he knew he was missing one or two figures.
He pressed the numbers or rather figures he knew and then started guessing. He started from the top left down to the bottom right.
It took time and Marco was suspecting he might be missing two figures and not one. That would lead to many many more possibilities.
Marco barely understood what happened the moment the door slid open for him. It was the second last figure. It was shaped kind of like a mix between a triangle and a T. The upper line on the T was bent both up and down at a 45-degree angle. The one leaning down to the left was a bit longer, making it touch a line that stretched from the bottom and up at another 45-degree angle. It could look like the number 4 too. A mix between a T and the number 4.
The form of the figure doesn't matter now anyway. What mattered was Noah. He needed saving from something Marco hoped was something stupid like a spider but first: there were no spiders here; second: Noah wasn't afraid of spiders.
The fact Noah wasn't calling Aitan for help worried Marco.
Marco pressed the figures on the small screen next to the door each door had. When he pressed that triangle-T the door slid to the side.
"Leave him alone!" Marco roared.
Aitan turned, shocked at hearing Marco's voice. His eyes widened and he hurried out of bed when he saw Marco holding his brother's knife.
I shouldn't have left Bewo unconscious and alone with Marco, Aitan thought. A quick and dangerous thought pressed on. He wanted to kill Marco if what he was thinking was true... Marco had killed Bewo.
No, Aitan thought with relief. There is no blood on the knife.
Marco had never seen Aitan naked. He looked like a beast, stronger than five bulls. He also looked vulnerable somehow. It was his body language.
