Lexi
Thankfully when I walked into the room, Jared wasn't there. Walking in on them making out is one thing. But having to see them complete the mate bond? No thank you. I looked around and didn't see Jess. I noticed our dresses out on the bed, but we still had like two hours until the start of the party.
"Jess? Where are you?"
"Bathroom!"
I put my phone on the charger, not wanting to take the chance of it dying during the party and not getting any pictures, then went in search of my best friend. I found her in a robe with her hair in a towel, filling the bathtub with bubbles. Since she looked like she had already washed off, I was assuming this was for me and I was super excited. I loved a good, relaxing bath.
"Alright lady. Strip and get in. Relax. I'm going to start on my hair and make-up so that I will be able to start yours when you get out."
I nodded and quickly stripped. I stepped into the tub and slowly slipped beneath the hot water. I let the water submerge me, leaving only my head above it. I sat there for a while with my eyes closed. I'm not sure how much time passed before Jess pulled me from my thoughts. When I opened my eyes to look at her, she was just finishing with her hair. She had a braided headband and then put some loose curls through the rest of her hair. I always loved her platinum hair, especially when she curled it.
"Alright. So, are you going to tell me how your conversation with the guys went earlier?"
She was looking at me through the mirror while she started on her make-up. I rolled my eyes and grabbed the towel that she had placed on the side of the tub. I quickly dried off and slipped into the robe she was handing me. I threw my hair into a smaller towel so it would soak some of the water out of it. She continued working on her make-up while I hopped onto the counter beside her.
"They just wanted to talk about living arrangements. Since Marc is the Alpha King, I will obviously be moving here. And it is even better since your mate is also here. I don't know what I would do if we were apart. But, since Liam is also my mate, we need to figure that into the equation. They had apparently already come up with a solution and just wanted to see how I felt about it."
She had just finished applying a grey smoky eye look and was applying a light pink lipstick. Somehow, the grey on her made her bright blue eyes even brighter. All of the she-wolves were always envious of her, and I was glad she was my best friend. She leaned against the counter, waiting for me to continue.
"They had already decided the Liam would move here, into Marc's room with us. It is the only way to keep all three wolves happy."
She looked deep in thought as she plugged the hair dryer in, no doubt to start getting me ready. I didn't even realize there was a chair in here until she pulled it over for me to sit on. Once I got comfy, she pulled the towel off my hair and ran a brush through it. She grabbed the hair dryer but looked at me before turning it on.
"They aren't each other's mates too, are they?"
