I could feel a headache starting. How had everything become so complicated so quickly? I haven't even had my wolf for 24 hours yet. Nobody knew I was a Lycan before then either. They could only speculate. How could someone actually know before me or my family? It was a lot to take in. A pack of rogues, which was unheard of to begin with, trying to get to me under orders from my mate's cousin. Does the Moon Goddess hate me?

I was so wrapped up in my thoughts that I didn't notice Liam walk up behind me. He snaked his arms around my waist and pulled me back against his chest. I turned in his arm so that I could breathe in his scent. I don't think I would ever get over the scents of my mates. I immediately felt myself relax.

"Better?"

I looked up to see Liam smiling down at me. I could see the worry in his eyes. Being a warrior, he was pretty good at hiding his emotions. I was able to see through his mask with all of the time we spent together, and I think being mates has helped, too. I stood on my toes and pressed my lips against his. He tightened his hold on me before breaking the kiss and placing one on my forehead.

I turned as I heard Marc end the call with his dad. He walked over to us and kissed the top of my head. I could tell he inhaled my scent deeply. That means he was even more agitated after the call. Liam loosened his hold on me so I could comfort Marc. I could tell he needed it. I wrapped my arms around his waist, and he held my head against his chest. He buried his face in my hair, and I could slowly feel him relax against me.

"My uncle is coming to the pack this week. I am not holding out too much hope, because he said he hasn't heard from Zach in a few years. We should head back though. The rogue can stay here since he was on this pack's territory."

I nodded as my dad walked into the office, with Liam's dad right behind him. My dad sat down and rubbed his hands over his face. He crossed his arms over his chest and looked at Marc.

"He's telling the truth about your cousin, isn't he?"

Marc sighed. I moved to stand between him and Liam, but still kept an arm wrapped around him.

"Considering I just got off the phone with my father and my uncle told him that he hasn't seen Zach in a few years? I feel like it is a very good chance. My uncle is coming to my pack this week. Hopefully we can gain some more insight. Hopefully he has at least a little insight of where Zach has been the last few years. That should help us. The rogue can stay here, and you can do as you see fit with his punishment. We need to head back. Feel free to join us to talk with my uncle."

My dad nodded and stood up. We all walked out of the building together in silence. Once we were by the vehicles, my dad turned back to David.

"We will keep the rogue in the cell for now. He seems to know more about the situation. Once we talk to your uncle, we can maybe talk to him again. We will make the necessary arrangements here and join your pack the day after tomorrow."

He gave me a quick hug before shaking hands with Marc and Liam. They walked into the house as Jared and Jess walked out. Jess looked at me, but I just shook my head. I would fill her in later. I honestly didn't want to think about this anymore right now. We all got into the car, too exhausted to make the run back to the Blue Moon pack. Marc rested his hand on my thigh and looked out of the window as we started driving. He was deep in thought. As the trees blurred by us, the exhaustion really hit me. I rested my head on Liam's shoulder and closed my eyes.

We must have been back because I felt someone shaking my shoulder. I groaned before opening my eyes. I saw Marc smirking at me. I rolled my eyes and stretched my legs.

"We're home, Little Wolf."

Home. I really liked the sound of it. Marc held his hand out and I took it. He helped me out of the car just as Liam made his way back onto the porch. He leaned against the railing and crossed his arms over his chest. I could hear Lily purring inside my head. We definitely liked what we saw. My stomach decided at that exact moment to come to life, reminding us that we hadn't had food in a rather long time. Both guys laughed.

"I was just coming to see if you wanted Jack to make a formal dinner or something quick. She caught me as I took our stuff in."

"Something quick that we can eat upstairs would be great. It's already later than I hoped. I had wanted to spend the day relaxing with you both before we dove into pack stuff tomorrow."

I watched Marc's eyes glaze over, no doubt talking to Jack about dinner. I walked the rest of the way up the porch and stood beside Liam. He had an odd smirk on his face, and he wouldn't look at me.

"Liam, why do you have that look on your face?"

"You'll see soon enough."

I gave him a confused look but didn't press the matter. Marc's eyes refocused and he joined us on the porch. He walked through the front door with Liam and me following him. He led us upstairs and stopped outside the bedroom door. He looked at me before opening the door and walking in. I followed him and stopped just inside the door with my mouth wide open.

The room looked so different. Instead of the bachelor pad vibe it gave before, it felt more like home. It still had the same base colors as before, but now there were shades of blue and emerald. I realized that they matched the shades of our eyes. When in the world did he have this done? It hadn't been THAT long since we left.

"As soon as you guys left earlier, I told my mom, Laura and Jack what I wanted done. It was a good thing we were delayed with the rogues, or this would not have been finished before we got back. What do you think?"

"Marc, I love it! It is perfect. I don't know how to thank you."

I watched as his eyes flashed quickly from his usual emerald to the silver of Max and back again. I could feel Lily stirring in my head and then felt Liam's hands on my waist. He pressed a kiss to my marking spot and chills went down my spine. I closed my eyes and felt his hands slide under my shirt and find my breasts. He gently massaged them and continued to leave kisses along my neck and shoulder. I couldn't help the moan that escaped my lips.

I heard a low growl and opened my eyes. Marc's eyes were completely silver. Max was fighting hard for control. I noticed that his erection was straining hard against his shorts. I bit my lip and moved my ass against Liam, noticing he was just as hard. I watched Marc remove his shirt before sitting on the bed.

"I know exactly how you can thank me."
