We followed Mina through her store, admiring the colorful dresses that filled the racks for every imaginable occasion. I knew I would definitely be coming back here. Jess, who has always loved dressing up, couldn't help but stop and look at the dresses along the way. Chuckling, she grabbed a sky-blue dress and brought it with us.

We walked through a door at the back of the store into another room with a trifold mirror and a row of chairs. Jess, Maggie, and Jen sat in the chairs while Mina took me into another room. Hanging on the wall was the dress I had picked for my Luna ceremony, and it was even more beautiful in person. As Mina closed the door, I lightly ran my hand over the smooth silk gown, noticing how the white wall made the turquoise fabric appear brighter.

Quickly, I stripped out of my clothes and stepped into the dress. The silk fit my body perfectly, stopping just above my knees, while the lace sleeves hugged my arms and flared slightly at my wrists. I spotted a pair of glittery silver sandals in the corner and slipped them on before turning towards the mirror. It was everything I had hoped for, and I couldn't wait for the guys to see it tomorrow.

Tearing my eyes away from the mirror, I joined the others, closing the dressing room door behind me. They looked towards me as I stepped in front of the trifold mirror. Jen, who I did not know to show a lot of emotion, had a huge smile on her face. Jess covered her mouth, wide-eyed, while Maggie had tears in her eyes. In that moment, I wished my mother was here.

"Oh darling, it looks even better than when I wore it many decades ago. Mina, you have made amazing updates to it over the years. Lexi, the color suits you. It will be perfect when you officially become our Luna tomorrow."

I looked at myself in the mirror one last time, a smile spreading across my face. I forced myself to go back into the changing room and take off the dress. As I joined the others in the store, Mina packed my dress and shoes. Maggie was on the phone, probably giving orders to others from the pack. Jen and Jess were at the counter checking out. I walked over to join them and see what goodies they had gotten.

"Hey guys, what do we have here?"

Rolling her eyes, Jen greeted me, while Jess had a huge smile on her face. I loved that Jen was more like me, and I was glad that she and Jess hit it off so well. Especially since I would be spending a lot of time with Jen as the Gamma. As they each grabbed their bags, we started walking towards Maggie, with Jess unable to contain her excitement.

"Well, I got that beautiful sky-blue dress that I grabbed, and some white sandals almost like your silver ones. That will be my outfit for the ceremony tomorrow. Then on our way back out here, I saw the perfect romper for Jen. It's a simple black romper with long, flowy pant legs and a tank top. It's also super stretchy, just in case she needs to fight. Obviously, we can't be too careful. Especially since you will officially be the pack's Luna."

"And this is why you are my right-hand girl. Does a Luna have a Beta? If so, you would be mine."

We all laughed as Maggie got off the phone. Mina brought my dress and shoes back out to us. We thanked her and then made our way to the SUV. We hung the dresses up in the very back and then walked to the little coffee shop that we saw. It had a cozy feel inside with neutral colors. It had a mix of couches with coffee tables for a more relaxed feel or the usual tables with chairs. I would definitely make a weekly stop here.

Our orders were taken quickly and were made even quicker. I'm not sure if that was always how they worked, or if it was just because of who we were. I wasn't going to complain either way. Thankfully, Maggie didn't need me for anything else, so we made our way back to the packhouse. I wanted to work in the office for a while before completely checking out. I took a few sips of my iced coffee on the drive back. I wanted to save most of it for work.
