The guests started to arrive I stood beside Sarah at the reception, a warm smile on my face as we graciously accepted congratulations from the guests for a wonderful wedding. It had been a perfect day, and I couldn't have been happier.
Then I saw someone approaching us I had not expected to see with a strange expression on his face, I expected him to be mad at me but he seemed more than just angry at me and looking at my wife??
He was sure invited because whole Carter family was but I thought the Carter kids would skip it. Emily of course because of our past and him because he never like me, why I still don't know we just never got along even when Emily tried numerous times but that attempts just ended up unfruitful. I think he just doesn't like me for my past and the image I hold and he doesn't want his sister to be with someone like me, which I understand if I was in his place even I would not want my sister with a person like me. But he had more than that against me. And today that seemed to have amplified to next level which again I guess is because I married Sarah instead of Emily.
When he approached us with a bouquet of Orchids he gave me a fake smile and then approached My Wife who was engrossed in a lively conversation with her friend Mia. I frowned as Noah shot me a less-than-friendly look before turning his attention to Sarah. When he approached her she looked shocked but happy to see him, and a smile lit up her face. He gave the flowers to her and smiled back at her. Do they both now each other?
"Noah, I didn't know you were coming," she exclaimed, her voice filled with genuine surprise and delight. Delight - She was happy to see him? what the fuck is going on between them?
Noah, dry wittily, replied, "I didn't know you were getting married."
Sarah chuckled, her eyes twinkling. "Well, surprise!"
Noah replied in a sweet voice which I have never heard him use "You are indeed full of surprises miss Alien." and wicked at her and she blushed.He fucking winked at My Wife. I will kill him.
I couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy by seeing these two friendly. She is My Little Dove, My Wife and only I can make her smile and blush, fucking everything and no one else. Not any other guy especially not him.
"Well how are you here? Sorry I didn't invite any of my friends. It was all a sudden..." She said with hurt in her voice like she was sad for not inviting him but ask me how happy i would have been if he was not here.
He thought for a moment and looked at me before replying her.
