Sarah's POV

The next morning, I woke up with a vivid redness in my cheeks, and even after a hot water bath, the blush remained. Alex wasn't there when I woke up, which I was grateful for because I wouldn't be able to face him at that moment.

I went downstairs for breakfast, where Maa was already eating. I took a seat next to her, placing my toast on my plate.

"Why are you all red, especially so early in the morning? But Alex left for the office early... Did you two..." she said with excitement.

"Shh, MAA... and no, not what you're thinking," I hushed her.

"Oh," she replied, sounding a bit disappointed.

"You're sad about that?" I asked.

"Should I be happy that you're not giving me grandchildren to play with?" she raised her eyebrow at me.

"MAA..." I was now even more embarrassed.

"Okay, fine, I won't tease you. But what's made you all red?"

I decided to confide in her about what happened yesterday, and she was helping me move forward.

"Good, so you've passed step 2 and 3."

"3?" I inquired.

"Yes, you are comfortable around him and want him, so that's 3," Maa said with a sly smile.

"Okay," I replied, sensing that she was up to something mischievous.

"What are you planning, Maa?" I asked, fully aware that she had something in mind.

"Nothing," she innocently responded.

I decided to ignore the feeling that she was scheming something and headed to college.

By now, my cheeks were less red, but I still blushed when I thought about the previous night.

Mia couldn't help but tease me, "What's with all the blushing, Sarah?"

"Nothing, just feeling warm," I replied.

"In February?" She raised her eyebrows and then exclaimed, "Did you have sex with Alex?"

I playfully slapped her shoulder and whispered, "Shh... and no, why is everyone assuming that, even Maa?"

"Maybe because you're all giddy, and..."

"No, we didn't. Now stop it."

"Then what did you do to get all flushed if not sex?"

"Shh, Mia, don't say it so loudly. We just... we kissed all night," I confessed, covering my face with my hands, feeling embarrassed.

"What? He just kissed you all night, and nothing else happened?" she exclaimed.

"Mia!!" I shouted. "Why are you and Maa so focused on that topic?"

"What topic, Sarah?" Mia teased.

"You know what I mean," I warned her, glaring at her.

"Maybe I don't," she said, but then my eyes fell on someone approaching us, which she hadn't noticed yet.

"Maybe your admirer will explain it better," I teased her, and she blushed when she saw him approaching with a wide grin. Finally, I got her. Yeah...

Daniel approached us. "Hi, Sarah."

"Hi, Daniel."

"Mia, can I take you out for the whole day today?" he asked nervously.

"But what about my classes?" Mia inquired.
