I woke up and looked at the time. It was 5 a.m., it was still dark outside and Alex was still sleeping. He looks so handsome even when he sleeps.
I got out of bed did my morning routine got ready in my jogging attire and packed the dress for college in my bag along with a towel and some footwear.
It was 6.15 am when I was all done with my lunch packed, I got out of the house and went to the college running in my jogging attire and sneakers.
My parent's house was only half an hour away from college so I used to walk. But the Reynolds Estate is located a little farther away from the city and it would take me almost 2 hours to reach college that too if I run.
I don't want to bother anyone with my transport. As they have already done so much for me and I was doing nothing in return to deserve anything. I am not wasting Alex's money on my travel so I dressed in my gym clothes, I will run to college and take a bath in the library's bathroom.
I don't even have much money with me anymore because I am not getting anymore pocket money from my father. I also need to save for the books that I need by the end of the semester.
By running, all the extra calories I am having will be reduced and it will be a good exercise because I am fat and need to lose weight as per my mother. After college, I will again change in the library's bathroom and come back.
So I ran to my college.

Alex's POV
When I woke up I saw Sarah was not there in the room. I thought she must be in the bathroom, but when I knocked the door was open, I realised she was not in there but there was mist on the mirror meaning Sarah had her bath already. I went downstairs to find her because it was just 6.30 in the morning and nobody was awake at this hour apart from the chef who prepared my coffee and breakfast.
I started eating breakfast with Sarah because it gave me more time to be with her and talk to her. I can talk to her all day and never get tired of listening to her.
I saw that she was not even downstairs, and even the chef was not there yet because he generally comes in by 7 a.m. Since I started eating breakfast I go to the office a little later than usual. But when I went into the kitchen I saw the oven was still hot as the vapours were coming out of it. It must have been Sarah, but where was she and why was she up so early? Usually, she was up by 6.30 around the same time I wake, but today it's like she had been up for hours and she was nowhere to be found.
I searched the whole estate but could not find her. Then I reached the main gate and asked the guard "Have you seen my wife?"
The guard looked at me all wet in sweat, as I was running around the estate looking for Sarah. "Sir new Mrs. Reynolds went jogging this morning around 6.15."
Jogging? why would she go jogging? it's not like she needs to, in fact, she needs to eat more because she is so thin and fragile.
I came back inside relaxed as now I know where she is. The chef was already in the kitchen so I said to him "Mr. Beaumont, can you please make pancakes today for breakfast? Sarah loves them and since it's her first day in college after marriage I want her to have her favourite breakfast today."
"Sure sir."
I went to my room to get ready, I was waiting for Sarah to come back so that I could drop her to college. I was so excited to tell Sarah that I would be dropping her. But more about that the man who used to go to college just to see her will be the one dropping her there.
It's been 8am and Sarah is still not back. Mom came down and was having her breakfast "Alex why are you not eating your breakfast and where is Sarah?"
"I don't know Mom, she went jogging and is still not back. I was waiting to have breakfast with her and later drop her off at her college."
"oh yes, today she starts college again. She must be excited to go back, maybe that's why she went jogging to relax a bit. She'll be back soon don't worry." she said with a smile
My phone rang and it was my PA she needed me to come to the office immediately due to some problem with the documents that required my signatures.
"Mom I need to go to the office it's important. When Sarah returns let her take your car and driver. I'll arrange for her a personal car and driver today so that she can take it to the college." I said in a hurry
"Sure."
I was so angry at my PA that she had called me up for some stupid paperwork that could have waited for another hour. I wanted to drop Sarah at her college, but now she had to go with a driver all by herself.
I couldn't concentrate on work and wanted to pick Sarah back from college but I don't know her schedule yet and when her class is off. So I decided to surprise her by going home early and asking her about how her day went.
I was home around 6 p.m. and went straight to my room, knowing that she would be there reading some book by the window. But when I entered the room she was not there. I called Mom and asked if they were together and out shopping. But she was not with Mom either as Mom was in her office.
Where the fuck was she??
Mom came back home immediately when I told her that I couldn't find Sarah anywhere.
"Mom, you must be having her number call her." stupid me did not even ask her number. Where the fuck is my brain at these days?
"I don't have her number" The fuck?
"Why? How? Didn't you used to call her everyday for wedding preparation?"
"Yes but I used to call on her mothers number, it never occurred to me to get her number as we were busy.."
"FUCK!!!" I shouted not at her but because I was worried hell for Sarah and where she could be. And none of us had her contact, what a great husband I am. UHHH!!!
"Do you think we should call her mother, maybe she went home? She must be missing them?"
"No Mom, she would not go to her house, from what I got from her talks in these past days and interaction with her parents, especially her mother. They don't have a very good relationship among them," I said. I don't like Sarah's mother and she was always buzzing Sarah.
"But we could still ask, her house is near her college maybe she missed them. It was all new for her, maybe she wanted to go back and visit them?" she said trying to console me so that I did not worry. But I knew that she was not with her parents and I didn't know how to tell her that.
"You may be right Mom, but if she is not there we can't worry them unnecessarily," I said so that Mom doesn't involve the Thompsons right now because I am already worried enough for Sarah and I have no patience to deal with them, especially Mrs. Thompson.
It was already 7.30 in the evening and it was already dark outside, I had no idea where my wife was and I was getting angry and worried. I was about to go to her college and see if everything was ok or not. All my emotions were on the edge of breaking loose when I saw her enter the door wearing gym clothes and panting like she ran a marathon.
