Sarah's POV

I rushed to college. As soon as I met Mia, her keen Sherlock eye picked up on my unusual behavior. I was blushing and smiling way too much, and she wasn't about to let it slide.

We found a spot on the grassy campus grounds after our lectures, and Mia initiated her interrogation. With just a simple "How's things with Alex?" she managed to make me blush even more. Sometimes, I couldn't help but resent how well she knew me.

Reluctantly, I spilled the beans about everything I had been feeling lately and my conversations with Maa.

"I'm with Eli, you are too shy to do anything."

"You were supposed to be my best friend, on my side" I pouted at her and acted mad also crossing my arms around my chest.

"I am always on your side babe, that why I am pushing you to take a leap."

I sighed and confessed, "But Mia, I've never done anything like this. What if I'm terrible at it? What if he doesn't like it? He's kissed so many beautiful models, and his ex-girlfriend was drop-dead gorgeous, even when she was drunk."

"He already kissed you isn't it? Just try it and if he doesn't like it  and we will find you a better husband." she joked winking at me.

"He's already kissed you, hasn't he?" Mia pointed out. "Just give it a shot. If he doesn't like it, it's his loss and he can go fuck himself, we'll find you an even better husband."

"Mia," I scolded her, but I couldn't help but smile.

"You are beautiful, Sarah," Mia reassured me. "Never let anyone say otherwise. I promise he'll like it."

"How can you be so sure?" I asked, still wrestling with doubt.

Mia's eyes sparkled with confidence as she answered, "Sarah, I know because he likes you. I can tell by the way he looks at you, and also because he practically had my neck for that date he planned for you."

"You think so?" I replied, still needing reassurance.

"Absolutely," Mia said with a reassuring nod.

As I entered the hall for the drama society meeting, my nerves were on edge. A room full of new faces was always a challenge for someone like me who was not adept at handling new people. However, amidst the sea of strangers, I spotted a familiar face and made my way toward him.

"Thank goodness you're here; I was feeling quite anxious," I confessed, my smile reflecting my relief.

"I'm always around, Ms. Alien," he quipped, winking playfully.

A voice suddenly chimed in from behind me, "You didn't even notice me; I thought you loved me."

I turned around, and I couldn't help but laugh. "Benjamin, I'm thrilled to see you too," I replied, my smile genuine.

He continued with a teasing tone, "And Noah, she's mine, so stay away. Plus, it looks like your girl is here."

Noah, reacted with an annoyed expression, "She's not my girl. My girl is..."

We all turned to look in the direction Benjamin was indicating. Two girls had just entered the room. One of them was remarkably stunning, with captivating blue-green eyes, a rich shade of brown hair, and lips accentuated with a subtle touch of red. Her physique was slim yet defined, moving with a grace that seemed to defy gravity itself. She was undeniably beautiful.

 She was undeniably beautiful
