Jungkook's muscular frame intertwined with Taehyung's, their sweat-soaked bodies finally finding solace after a night of intense love making. The air was heavy with remnants of their passion, as the dawn light filtered through the curtains, bathing the room in a soft glow.

Jungkook's breath hitched as he pressed a trail of gentle kisses along Taehyung's collarbone, feeling his husband stir beneath him. Admiring the love of his life, with so much love in his doe eyes. Moments like these were rare, cherished, and he held onto them with both his hands.

With a satisfied sigh, Jungkook reluctantly untangled himself from Taehyung's embrace, leaving the warmth of the bed behind. He sat up, taking a moment to appreciate his husband's peaceful slumber. Taehyung's flawless features were etched in his mind– the curve of his lips, the twinkle in his eyes, the way his tousled hair framed his face.

He then turned to look at his daughter who was fast asleep in her small cot beside their king sized bed. He smiled at his little princess, walking over to her and placing kisses on both her cheeks.

"My babies, I love you both so much." He whispered under his breath, refering his daughter and husband as his babies.

Jungkook wanted to stay at home and spend his time with his lovely husband and his angel like daughter. But–

He had a duty to do, dragging Jungkook away from the sanctuary of their shared love. He freshed up and slipped on his dark suit, the fabric smooth against his skin, and glanced at the clock ticking on the wall. The crime scene awaited him, a puzzle he needed to unravel. He informed the maid about his leave, wishing her a good morning as well, before finally leaving the house.

Jungkook made his way to the crime scene on the border of the city, his sleek black car cutting through the wind. The sun hung low in the sky, casting long shadows of the trees that danced on the earth's surface. His anticipation grew, fueling his desire to bring justice to the victim.

As he arrived at the restricted area, he couldn't help but notice the eerie emptiness that surrounded him. It was as though the scene had been scrubbed clean, any trace of the killer erased without a single hint to follow. Jungkook furrowed his brows, his mind already working in overdrive. How could someone be so careful at leaving no evidence behind?

Just yesterday the trail was still fresh and he could have picked up many clues. The whole area was covered with little hints here and there, which could bring him face to face with the killer.

Anger simmered deep within Jungkook, churning like a storm on the horizon. He knew this act was intentional, a message to him that the killer was smarter, more cunning than anyone he had encountered before. His hands balled into fists, his knuckles turning white from the pressure as determination fueled his resolve.

Jungkook surveyed the land, his jaw clenched in frustration. He kicked a small pebble, the sound echoing through the stillness of the crime scene. The sky above had now transformed into a canvas of black, casting a chilling breeze that nipped at his skin. It was as if the universe planned to test his dedication and strength.

Breathing in the crisp air, Jungkook made a silent promise. He would not rest until the killer was captured, until justice was served. The fire within him burned brighter, his eyes burning with the fury of a warrior on a mission.

As he turned to leave, his gaze landed on a small trail of discarded police tape, fluttering in the wind. Jungkook's footsteps echoed as he retraced his path, shadows dancing around him with every stride.
His anger had turned into a steely focus, driving him to go back to the beginning and start his investigation all over again. He needed to find the smallest clue, the tiniest thread that would unravel the mystery woven by the killer.
