Jungkook and Elvira found themselves alone in the room. Yumi and her mother had stepped out to give them privacy, as Jungkook had expressed the need to talk to Elvira about something important. Jungkook sat in a chair beside Elvira, carefully observing the elderly lady as she fidgeted with her fingers, gazing out of the window.

After clearing his throat, Jungkook began, "Please stop ignoring me. I need to talk to you. I promise I won't make fun of you like others do. I'm just... curious about you."

Elvira turned to look at Jungkook, her face displaying a perplexed frown. She responded, "I don't even know you. Why do you want to talk to me?"

For a moment, Jungkook reconsidered his decision to approach her. Was this Elvira, the real owner of the house he and his family were staying in, or was she a different Elvira? What if the real Elvira is actually dead and gone like Taehyung had mentioned. He decided to take another approach to encourage her to speak.

Shaking his head, he disclosed, "I'm detective Jeon Jungkook and I'm staying in Blackwood, the house at the edge of the forest with my husband and our two lovely kids." Jungkook watched her closely as her eyes widened in surprise at the mention of her house. He added further, "I came to know that a lady named Elvira is the owner of that place. I'm curious– Are you that same Elvira, the owner of the house where my family and I are now living?"

Elvira's breathing became unsteady as she clutched her hair, shaking her head and mumbling, "That can't be! How can you stay there? No, you can't! You shouldn't!"

Jungkook was taken aback by her distressed behavior. He couldn't help but wonder if Yumi's earlier comment about Elvira being unstable was indeed accurate. Elvira's sudden change in demeanor puzzled him.

Suddenly, Elvira turned her head towards Jungkook with wide, fearful eyes. She grabbed a hold of Jungkook's collar, shaking him violently and urgently exclaimed, "You must leave that house! It's dangerous to live there. I lost my mind after staying there, and now I've been stuck in a psychiatric hospital for the past so many years. You must leave that house!"

Jungkook tried to calm the agitated Elvira down as he gently removed her hands off him and asked, "Are you really the owner of the house? Please, tell me more. I need to know everything about the house."

Elvira nodded her head with increasing desperation, confirming that the house had belonged to her, infact her grandparents, and she had lived there with her husband after marriage. Jungkook felt a sense of relief that Elvira was starting to share information about the house, and he was determined to uncover the details he sought.

Jungkook pulled out his phone from his pocket and opened the picture of the girl in the old photograph he had taken the night before. With a fake cough, he slowly extended his phone toward Elvira and asked, "Who is the girl in the picture, Elvira?"

Elvira took the phone, and her eyes widened in surprise. She stared at the picture for a while before her breathing grew heavy, and she seemed on the verge of throwing the phone away. Jungkook, quick to react, stopped her and gently retrieved his phone from her grasp. He then calmed her down once again, holding her wrinkled hands and rubbing them until she was composed enough to speak.

"What was it about the picture that made you so angry… by chance, is the girl in the picture your enemy?"

Elvira looked down at the sheets and began to cry as she revealed, "The girl in the picture is Greta, my maid. My husband- Simon, hired Greta as the maid. I was in love with my husband, but he cheated on me with Greta."

The revelation left Jungkook in a state of bewilderment. It contradicted what Taehyung had shared about Elvira having a kind male servant. Fueled by curiosity, Jungkook inquired, "Wasn't there a male servant too? What happened to him? I was told there was one."
