Jungkook walked out of the car, his daughter securely held in his arms. Opening the door of Taehyung's side, he gently lifted his husband out of the vehicle and supported him as they made their way towards their home. Inside, their maid stood ready to greet them, but Jungkook merely acknowledged her with a nod before locking himself in their bedroom.

The tension lay heavy in the air, clouding Jungkook's mind and making his blood boil. It had been brewing for the past few minutes, ignited by Ju Ho's constant flirtatious remarks towards Taehyung. And as much as he wanted to confront Taehyung about it, he knew he had to hold himself back.

He couldn't risk upsetting his husband, especially with Taehyung's emotions already heightened due to his pregnancy hormones. It already took a lot of effort for Jungkook to make Taehyung talk to him after he had scolded Taehyung last night.

Resisting the urge to unleash his frustration on Taehyung, Jungkook set himself down with determination, opening his laptop and burying himself in work. He needed a distraction– something to occupy his mind and keep him from lashing out. So he began to search for the victim's social media account to get some clues.

Meanwhile, Taehyung, sensing the boiling anger radiating from Jungkook, decided it was best to give him some space. He yearned for Jungkook's attention at the moment, but he knew he had to wait for a while for Jungkook to calm down. Instead, he decided to meditate, hoping to find some peace amidst the chaos.

Calling for the maid, Taehyung asked for a yoga mat to be placed on the porch. The pregnant man carefully positioned himself on the mat with Hyun-Joo's help, ensuring his baby bump was protected. As he closed his eyes and absorbed the calmness of the fresh air, allowing it to calm his troubled mind.

Hyun-Joo returned to her duties, leaving Taehyung alone with his thoughts. Minutes turned to moments as he delved deeper into his meditation.

Suddenly, the temperature around him began to fall drastically, sending shivers down his spine. Confused, he looked towards the living room, where Taehee was left to entertain herself.

Curiosity tugged at Taehyung, urging him to investigate the strange phenomenon. He rose up from his seat cautiously, mindful of his protruding belly, and ventured towards the living room. The cold air clung to him like a ghostly presence, whispering a sense of unease.

As soon as he entered the living room, his gaze fell upon the wall clock which was hanging right in front of him, its hands revolving counterclockwise, defying the laws of time itself.

A furrow formed between Taehyung's brows, his confusion growing more noticeable at this unusual thing. Suddenly, Taehee's innocent giggle echoed through the room, causing a shudder to run down his spine.

"Taehee baby," he calls out. Taehyung stepped forward, reaching out to her. But Taehee's reaction caught him off guard.

She swatted Taehyung's hands away, her expression contorted with fear as she let out a piercing cry. An unexplainable terror seemed to grip her, too frightened to approach Taehyung.

Taehyung's heart broke at the sight of Taehee's distress. "Why are you crying baby? It's just me… your mama." He desperately tried to calm her down, his soothing words falling on deaf ears.

The cries only grew louder, filled with terror and desperation, to be away from Taehyung. Panic began to consume Taehyung as he clung to his baby bump protectively, his eyes welling up with tears.

"Why are you so scared of me? Don't cry, Taehee."

From the bedroom, Jungkook couldn't ignore the commotion any longer when his daughter's cries grew louder by the second. His heart hammered in his chest as he raced towards the living room.
