The morning sun shimmered through the sheer curtains, casting a warm glow upon the tastefully decorated bedroom. A sense of stillness hung in the air as Jungkook had already left for work, leaving Taehyung to his own devices.

Sighing heavily, Taehyung sat cross-legged on the plush bed, his mind weighed down by a storm of emotions. Anger simmered within him, directed towards his husband, but Jungkook had tried everything in his power to make Taehyung talk, to mend the divide between them.

Seated amidst a sea of baby magazines, Taehyung absently turned the pages, gaze fixated on an article about nursery room decorations. "We haven't even bought a cradle for you yet, my baby. Your papa is too busy with his work." His unsteady hands caressed his now 9th month pregnant belly, the life growing within providing a bittersweet solace amidst the chaos that his life had become.

Frustrated from the boredom, he set the magazine aside, letting out a frustrated huff as he got up from the bed.

Carefully traversing the room, Taehyung walked with a grace that only a pregnant woman possessed. The hunger pangs within his stomach reminded him of the need for a snack, and he ventured out towards the kitchen.

As he made his way through the house, something caught his eye through the window—the clothesline hung heavy with freshly laundered clothes, untouched by the hands of their maid. Irritated at the lack of attention to detail, Taehyung decided to take matters into his own hands.

"Hyun-Joo!" he called out, his voice carrying through the labyrinth of hallway. The young maid hurriedly made her way into the kitchen, her eyes widening at the sight of Taehyung's irritated look on his face.

"Yes, sir?" she asked, her voice filled with respect and a touch of trepidation.

"Where's your attention? Why are clothes still not brought inside? Go outside and bring the clothes in," Taehyung replied, a touch of annoyance lacing his words. His mood changed drastically to annoyance within a matter of a few seconds.

Hyun-Joo nodded, understanding her duty, and swiftly made her way outside. The fresh morning air greeted her as she approached the clothesline, the garments swaying in the gentle breeze. Hyun-Joo sighed, "Taehyung seems to be in a bad mood today. Wonder what made him so annoyed? Maybe it's the mood swings." She mumbled under her breath.

"I can see you... Your scent lingers in the air. Come to me."

Just as she was about to retrieve the clothes, a distant voice carried on the wind, reached her ears. It seemed to call out for her, lost amidst the surrounding jungle which lay a few distance away from their house.

Confused, Hyun-Joo furrowed her brows, wondering who would venture into such a place. The voice grew louder, now punctuated with heart-wrenching cries, causing a shiver to cascade down her spine.

Her heart drummed within her chest, urging her to investigate. She turned her gaze towards the house and back to the jungle, contemplating whether to abandon her task and delve into the unknown or not.

Suddenly, an ear-piercing cry and the sound of desperate banging on the door reverberated from inside the house. Panic overcame Hyun-Joo, and without wasting another moment, she sprinted towards the house, her feet pounding against the wooden floorboards.

The cries pleading for help grew louder, as she neared the room that was supposed to be occupied by Taehee in the beginning, when the family had moved in there.

Swinging the door open, Hyun-Joo was met with an empty room, devoid of life. A chill ran down her spine as she caught sight of a shadowy figure imprinted on the wall, its presence oozing a sense of malevolence.
