The hospital room was bathed in a gentle, clinical illumination, which created an atmosphere of subdued tranquility, perfectly mirroring the somber mood within. Jungkook sat in a cushioned chair positioned close to the bed, his eyes never leaving Taehyung's still form. Taehee sat beside him, her small frame hardly occupying a portion of the chair.

Jungkook's hand reached out and gently brushed a strand of hair from Taehyung's forehead, his touch tender and filled with an unspoken longing for his husband to wake up.

Taehee sat silently beside him, her eyes fixed on Taehyung's face, her small hand reaching out to touch his. Her innocence was a stark contrast to the gravity of the situation.

The room was filled with a hushed silence, punctuated only by the soft murmurs of nurses passing by in the hallway and the occasional sound of distant footsteps. Outside the window, it was already night, painting the room in varying shades of darkness.

In the quiet confines of the hospital room, Jungkook couldn't help but dwell on the events that had transpired just an hour ago. The words of the doctor echoed in his mind, a mix of relief and concern washing over him.

The doctor's voice had been a soothing balm to Jungkook's frayed nerves. "Mr. Jeon, your husband took a larger dose of sleeping pills than recommended, which plunged him into a deep sleep. However, since you brought him in promptly, we were able to intervene in time. He's out of immediate danger now, and I'm confident he'll wake up soon."

Those words had been a lifeline, a promise that Taehyung would be okay. Jungkook felt a profound sense of gratitude towards the medical professionals who had worked diligently to stabilize his husband.

As Jungkook replayed the doctor's words in his mind, he couldn't help but be struck by the revelation that followed the good news. The doctor had mentioned that, in the course of examining Taehyung, they had discovered something else—a weariness that ran deeper than just physical exhaustion.

"Your husband, Mr. Jeon, appears to be extremely weak and fatigued," the doctor had explained. "Considering that he recently gave birth, it's possible that he's suffering from postpartum depression, which may have led him to take the excessive sleeping pills."

Those words had hung heavily in the air, casting a shadow over the room. Jungkook felt a pang of guilt and realization. He had noticed Taehyung's tiredness and assumed it was a natural consequence of childbirth and adjusting to the demands of a newborn. He had been so focused on caring for their family that he had failed to see the emotional turmoil his husband was enduring.

He turned to Taehee, his voice a whisper as he reflected, "I should have noticed, Taehee. I should have seen how tired your Mama was, how much he needed my support. I should have realized that he might be going through something like postpartum depression."

Taehee's young eyes met his, not understanding what it meant by postpartum depression, but she definitely understood her father's pain. She reached out and touched her father's hand, offering comfort

As the two of them sat by Taehyung's side, waiting for him to wake up, Jungkook felt a renewed sense of purpose. "Taehee," Jungkook began, his voice tender but firm, "...listen to me."

Taehee turned her curious gaze toward her father, her eyes wide and attentive. "W-what… is it, Papa?"

Jungkook took a deep breath, choosing his words carefully. "Mama is not feeling well. When he wakes up, we'll make sure we won't trouble him much. Show him how much you love him. Can you promise me that, sweetheart?"

Taehee nodded solemnly, her understanding evident. "I p-promise, papa. I also won't tr-ouble mama."

Jungkook's heart swelled with pride for his wise and empathetic daughter. He ruffled her hair affectionately and was about to say more when a faint movement on the hospital bed drew their attention. Taehee's gaze followed her father's, and her eyes widened in excitement.
