As the first rays of sunlight gently infiltrated the room, painting it with a golden hue, Jungkook's peaceful slumber was disturbed by little hands squishing his cheeks. Stirring slightly, he opened his eyes to find his daughter already wide awake, lying on his chest with an infectious smile gracing her face. The sight melted his heart instantly, erasing any lingering dreams and bringing him into the present moment.
Jungkook had planned to spend the morning immersed in the gruesome task of analysing murder scene pictures, trying to solve the mysterious crimes that haunted his thoughts continuously.
However, gazing into his daughter's sparkling eyes, he couldn't bear to spend another moment immersed in his work. He wanted to cherish every minute with Taehee, to take her out and create memories rather than confining her to the walls of their home.
Knowing that Taehyung would most likely sleep in after their heated argument the previous night, Jungkook swiftly made the decision to take Taehee to the shopping mall. He couldn't fathom leaving her lonely and hungry until Taehyung's eventual awakening. With a newfound sense of purpose, he changed Taehee's diaper and dressed both of them before venturing out.
Over a light breakfast of cereal, Jungkook informed the maid about their plans and made sure the house was in order before leaving. As they prepared to set off, Taehee looked up at Jungkook with her big, innocent eyes, "papa, can I... can I b-bring my friend along too?"
Jungkook peered at her, noticing the way she cradled a doll in her arms, and smiled warmly, granting her request. "Of course you can!" Jungkook exclaimed with excitement, "You can bring as many friends you wish to bring along, I will take everyone for shopping."
Jungkook carefully strapped Taehee into her car seat and folded her wheelchair, gently placing it in one corner of the vehicle. With a quick glance at the backseat to ensure safety, he started the engine, embarking on a journey through the dense trees that led to the highway to Seoul.
Navigating the winding road, Jungkook's mind became consumed by worry for Taehyung. He decided to reach out to Taehyung's midwife, Dallia, seeking guidance regarding his husband's extreme mood swings and their detrimental effects on their relationship. He immediately plugged in his ear pods and called Dallia, who picked up the call after a few rings.
"Hello to the famous detective Jeon, good morning!" Dallia greets him. Jungkook smiles unconsciously and greets back before jumping on to the main point why he had called her.
"I need your help Mrs. Song..." Jungkook trailed off, his fingers drumming against the steering wheel. "It's about Taehyung's extreme mood swings. His mood swings are getting worse day by day and it's difficult for him to control his emotions... He fights over little things and gets upset about it and wouldn't talk with me. I don't understand what exactly he wants... I'm trying my best to keep him happy."
Dallia listens to him carefully and hums, "it seems like he is yearning for your attention in a different way. Last time I met him, he asked me if it's okay for him to have sex which I agreed to. I clearly remember the way his eyes sparkled and cheeks flushed. He wants your love and attention. Taehyung's hormones seem to be sexually active right now, and he wants you to understand his needs and show it to him physically."
Listening attentively, Jungkook's cheeks flushed red as he absorbed Dallia's words, who revealed about Taehyung's recent behavior. She also cautioned Jungkook to be patient and shower Taehyung with affection, emphasizing the potential harm to both Taehyung and their unborn child if his emotional instability continued.
