Josephine
The apartment hunting from last night didn't go well. I couldn't find something I liked, so I will continue today. But first, I have to get ready for my interview. But first, I have to find some inspiration for an outfit on Pinterest. It's been a long time since I had an interview and I have no idea how I should dress. I decide to wear some dark blue trousers instead a skirt. I add a simple white shirt and a dark blue blazer. I curl my hair and I add some light make-up on my face. I take a medium black bag and my nude heels. I'm wearing some nude shoes with a thick and short heel. I want to be comfortable at this interview.
I leave my house at 8.30am because I want to be in time at the interview. The drive is silent because I don't want to listen music. I'm just thinking about what will happen at the interview. And I'm curious if Hero will be there.
I arrive around 9.30am and I park my car nearby. When I want to get out of my car, I get a text from Hero.
'Good morning, blondie. Good luck at the interview. I'm sure you will do good. See you soon.'
Oh, he's really sweet. I'm really thankful for him. He helped me to get this interview and I hope I will see him these days.
I leave my car and I walk to the building. I get inside and I go to the reception.
"Hello, welcome to ArchiTech Masters. How can I help you?"
"I'm having an interview with Mr. William Davis. Josephine Langford."
"Let me check, please." She looks on her computer, then she looks at me with a smile on her face. "Mrs. Langford, follow me." She says and I follow her to some stairs. "Walk up the stairs and the office of Mr. William is on the right."
"Alright, thank you."
I walk up the stairs as the receptionist said and I knock at the door.
"Come in!"
"Hello, Mr. Davis. I'm Josephine Langford and I'm here for an interview."
"Hello, Josephine. Have a seat, please." I sit on the chair in front of his office. "Do you have a portfolio with your work?"
"I do." I take out the portfolio and I hand it to him. "I want to say that these is my work from when I was studying. I don't have experience. But I'm up to date with every trend in architecture. And I keep my mind busy working in some programs I learned in college. There are some of my creations."
"I'm impressed." He looks through my work. "And I'm really curious why no one hired you until now."
"It's not that no one wanted me. My family said it's not necessarily for me to work. But now... I want to do what I like."
"What programs you work with?"
"AutoCAD and In-Design."
"Really nice. Congratulations and welcome in my team."
"Huh?"
"You are hired." He laughs and he gives me his hand. I squeeze it gently. "When are you able to start?"
"Anytime!" I say surprised.
"What about Monday?"
"Sure!"
"I'll send you the contract on your mail with all the details about your position and on Monday, you will sign it."
"Good. Thank you, Mr. Davis!"
"You have potential, Josephine. So show me how good you are."
"I will. I promise. Have a good day!"
I get out of his office and I walk down the stair. At the base of he stairs I'm surprised to see Hero.
"That smile tells me one thing. You got the job."
"You're here!" I say and I go to hug him. A little too brutal for a girl, but I wanted to do this.
"Congrats on your new job, blondie."
"Thank you." I let him go, but he drags me closer to him. "Let's celebrate!"
"Can we celebrate at your... Place?" I say seductively as I look at his grey eyes.
"I like how it sounds."
"Give me the address. I don't want to let my car here."
"Alright." He pecks my lips and he let me go.
We part our ways and when I arrive at my car, I have a text with his address. I get inside, I add the address on the GPS and I drive there. Twenty minutes later, I see him and he guides me to an underground parking. I park the car next to his and I get out.
"Hi."
"Hi. Can I kiss you?" I ask shy and I see a smirk on his face.
"Yeah." He comes closer to me and I wrap my arms around his neck, letting him kiss me. I missed him. The kiss is soft and not passional. It's all I wanted.
We break the kiss and we walk hand in hand to the elevator. We get inside and Hero introduces a code and the elevator goes up until we arrive at the last floor. I expected him to live in a penthouse and I'm really curious how his apartment looks.
"What floor is this?" I ask as the elevator stop.
"Fifty."
"I bet the view is amazing."
"It is." He let his hand on my back and he leads me inside his apartment. "What would you like to eat?"
"I don't know. You can chose."
"Alright. Go and make you comfortable on the couch while I order." He points the couch.
I take off my heels and my blazer and I walk to the couch. I look around and I see these big windows, so I get up and I go to look at the view in front of me. London's view from this place is amazing.
"Enjoying the view?" He says as he wraps his arms around my waist.
"Yes, it's amazing." He kisses my neck and I smile.
"I hope you like sushi."
"I do."
"And what are you plans from now on?"
"Well... I have to find a place where I can live. I told my parents that I want to work and we made a deal. I have three months to show them that I like what I'm doing. And I have to rent an apartment."
"Rent an apartment?"
"Yeah. We have an apartment, but that's the place where my brother brings his flings. And I want to be on my own. I'm an adult and I can be independent."
"That's really good, Josephine. Do you need help finding an apartment? I have a friend..." I interrupt him.
"No. As I said, I'm an independent woman and I can do it by myself, but thank you anyway."
"Alright. I understand your decision and I respect it."
"So... I have a question for you, Hero."
"Ask me anything."
"What are we doing right now?" I turn to him and I look into his beautiful eyes as I spot a smile on his face.
"We? I don't know exactly. Do you want us to be together?"
"Do you?"
"Don't answer with a question." He smirks and he turns me around.
