Josephine
Today it's Christmas Eve. And we're going to Andy's cabin, but before that, we're going to see our boy. At my last appointment, Dr. Smith told me that we can have a 4D scan to see his face features. We're super excited to see our little boy.
"Are you excited?" I say as we walk inside the private practice.
"Super excited! We can finally see how he looks."
"I bet he's really handsome as his father."
"Me too." He smirks.
A few minutes later, we're called in Dr. Smith's office. We talk for a little while, then we go to do the ultrasound.
Dr. Smith: "The gel will be cold." She squirts some gel on my abdomen and she starts the ultrasound. "There he is." We see the baby on the screen and I smile as I see our chubby son.
Jo: "Oh, my! He's adorable."
Dr. Smith: "He's a little bit bigger, but I'm not worried about this. He's good in there and it looks like he's waving to us." We look on the screen and the baby is waving to us.
Hero: "He has your nose, blondie."
Jo: "And your lips." I smile and I look at him. "He's adorable."
Hero: "He really is."
After our appointment we leave to Andy's cabin. After more than two hours we finally arrived. We made a lot of stops because the baby is sitting on my bladder and I had to pee every 30 minutes. But we're finally here and we can relax.
I knock at the door and Willow opens it for us.
Willow: "Hi!"
Jo: "Hello."
Willow: "Come on in." We walk inside and Hero helps me to take off my jacket.
Hero: "Hi. Where are your boys?"
Willow: "Jack is taking a nap and Andy is in the garage, he checks something at our car."
Hero: "I'm going to him."
Jo: "Okay." Hero leaves and me and Willow go to the kitchen.
"How's the pregnancy going?"
"Good. We're getting closer to the big day." I smile as I rub my bump.
"I'm happy for you and Hero."
"Thanks."
"And, do you have a name for him?"
"Not yet. We're taking notes about boy names. I hope until he will be born, we will find a perfect name."
"We struggled with the same issue when I was pregnant with Jack. But I'm sure you will find the perfect name for your boy."
"Yeah..."
A few minutes later, Hero and Andy comes to the kitchen. We talk for a little while, then me and Hero goes to the guest room to get some rest before dinner.
"He's really active right now." I say as I lay on the bed.
"I suppose he is excited to come on this world."
"Nope, not yet. He has to stay here for another 7-8 weeks."
"I can't wait to meet him, blondie."
"Me too. I'm really curious how this will be."
"It will be a nice adventure. I can't wait to see how parenting is."
"Me too."
A few weeks later...
