"Come on, Miles. You have to do this. This is Soren Chandler we are talking about!" Jackson urged him but Miles had a disturbed reaction on his face. In his mind, there were countless thoughts running.

He did not know the reason why Soren Chandler was requesting for him specifically to do work together. However, he had a hunch of what was going to happen and why it was happening.

'Of course...' He facepalmed internally once he realized it.

Soren Chandler wanted to talk with him about the picture. Not because he personally took it and that was one of the images published on the internet that captured a lot of people's attention. Soren Chandler could call all of the paparazzi that took his picture but he was requesting for Miles specifically.

'Shit.'

Soren was seen entering Copper Blue – a highly exclusive club that only catered to the elites of the elite. There were a lot of controversies around the place including the unsupervised and free use of illegal substances and prostitution. However, despite the rumors going around Copper Blue, there were no actions taken by the police or anyone who has the responsibility to uphold the law.

They just did not have the capability to go against the people who are atop the pyramid of power.

'Is he mad because I took that picture of him entering Copper Blue?' Miles thought but his reasoning was telling him that if that picture he took of Soren was not published, one of the countless paparazzi taking the same picture would have their works uploaded on the internet otherwise. 'Was it a wrong move?' Miles couldn't help but feel dread lingering in his mind.

"Miles!" The photographer snapped out of his thoughts when Jackson snapped his fingers in front of his face.

"Y-Yes..."

"Are you even listening to what I've been saying earlier?"

"I..." Miles scratched his cheek and sweatdropped. "I'm sorry. Can you repeat it?"

Sighing, Jackson crossed his arms and looked straight into Miles' eyes.

"I want you to work with Soren Chandler on the thing he wanted you to do with him."

"But-"

"If you do get the scoop with Soren Chandler, we can have Seven's name on the high ground for a long time. Other artists would come crawling at our doors when they know we've worked with the Soren Chandler himself."

"..." Miles hesitated at the offer.

"And I am willing to promote you as one of our editors if this project becomes successful." The photographer's mind went blank and his body stiffened.

An editor of Seven.

'The Seven' was the name of their news publication company and though it was relatively new compared to other companies, The Seven has already been in the field for more than four years and they still couldn't compete with medium and large-sized publications.

And if he gets that scoop with Soren Chandler, it was no doubt that The Seven would be a sensation in the work field.

He gulped as his throat itched at the offer Jackson was giving him.

Miles had been a journalist for a long time now – six years. However, his career still didn't fly off compared to his colleagues in the same field. He was stuck as a pushover photographer that took pictures of celebrities randomly and they were always bad that no one wanted to buy them aside from his publication that must be taking pity of his work and added it to the last column of the journal where people wouldn't even bother reading.
