Miles sat on his now-identified favorite couch in the world as he rummaged through his bag to look for something. A few moments later, he brought out the equipment he needed to proceed with the job. Looking at the man in front of him, he sighed.
For unknown reasons, Soren Chandler looked like he was not in the mood.
Even Layla who was standing from a distance also noticed the actor's expressions and she only gave Miles an apologetic smile as she couldn't do anything about it either.
"The script won't be good if you frown like you missed winning the lotto by one number," the journalist spoke and Soren turned to look at him. The man's stoic expression seems like it was about to turn into a full-out rage raised an eyebrow at him.
"I'm a professional. It won't affect my work."
"Why? What happened? Your date went bad or something?" Miles asked subconsciously as he was setting the recorder up. Once he was done making sure that it was working properly, he looked back at Soren and saw that the man's questioning expression earlier turned back to sour. He took a glance at Layla and saw that the assistant also had an awkward look on her face.
'Oop.' He made an awkward face as well. 'Damn, even a Soren Chandler can also get a bad date,' Miles thought.
Who would ever think that a man whose face was practically considered the perfect face of the world can get an unfortunate circumstance with his life when it came to dating? Miles wanted to laugh at that because, for the first time, the world felt quite fair. However, he didn't. It would be wrong to laugh in front of Soren Chandler even with the thick atmosphere of awkwardness and silence.
To give context, Soren had an extensive list of relationships in the past years and the girls he dated were, to say, on another level.
Miles had dug up enough information about Soren Chandler that he knew who those women were.
Some were models, some were high-profile celebrities just like him, and sometimes, they were the non-showbiz daughters of renowned millionaires and billionaires alike. His history of women was, to say the least, classy and expensive.
'Did he not get laid?' Miles laughed internally as he took out his notebook from his bag and a pen as well. Even though he was recording, it was best to have a backup plan in case things happen.
There was no doubt someone like Soren wouldn't be a sex-crazed man, at least once in his life, because of all the attention he was getting. Women and men alike were practically throwing themselves at him left and right and all that the actor would do was to pick someone who suits his taste and actually have the taste.
Right from the moment his face was shown to the public, he immediately became an eye candy for the mass. He was revered like nobody else. Every action that he did make people fawn over him regardless of what it was.
"Going back," Miles placed the recorder on the table and opened his notebook. The clicking of the pen was heard throughout the silently awkward home which signified he was ready to do his job.
"Are you ready?" He asked and Soren raised an eyebrow at him. It was apparent his sour mood still wasn't appeased but it also seemed like he was genuinely questioning Miles' statement. "Seems like you are, Mr. Chandler."
He shrugged his shoulders as he continued on. He was getting paid half a billion here anyway whether this project was successful or not. All that he had to do was listen and create the movie for this man in front of him. Miles couldn't care less.
"Mr. Chandler, you said you wanted to talk about your life and reality. What did you mean by that?" He asked as if it was an interview with the public watching right now.
