"I'm so tired." Miles was beat up after going to the mall with Soren and Mikhail. His eyes darted to the couch where the bags he carried were.

Kael bought him a lot of things.

He just walked during Kael's shopping spree since he wasn't planning to buy anything and he just wanted to appease his upset stomach but along the way, Mikhail bought him thing after thing as if he was just taking something from display no matter how much it would be.

Miles' gaze lingered for a few more seconds until he turned away and unbuttoned his shirt.

He knew Mikhail was trying to tell him something aside from when he said they should ruin people together and Miles was trying to figure it out. Maybe it wasn't that important if Kael wasn't directly telling it to him so he discarded the thought for now and instead was thinking of another thing.

Miles didn't show it at all, did he?

Every time there was something newsworthy that catches his eyes, his hand would always itch to do something about it whether he'd take a picture or write an article. That was one of Miles' little secret of his own.

When that happens, especially in public places where he was easily noticeable, Miles always hides it and makes sure that it doesn't show. It can be a little disorienting especially for normal people who would find it weird if someone was that eager to make articles about someone and possibly ruin their life.

"He instantly saw right through me," he murmured while removing his shirt.

It came as a surprise to him because there were at most two interactions that happened between him and Kael before their lunch. But was that enough time for someone to easily see through his front?

His family didn't see what he really was despite them being together for a majority of his life. The people from his work didn't either.

But someone who talked to him two times was able to decode him?

That was a first.

Miles walked into the living room and he sat on his chair that he was using for his desktop computer. He turned the gadget on and the screensaver he had since he got this computer popped up.

The whirring of the accompaniment PC echoed in the silent room and he stared at the photo for a long time as his hands grazed over the keyboard trying to think about something.

He couldn't get over the fact that someone was able to easily see through him like that. Out of all people, the lover of the person he was working with who had the least amount of interaction Miles had ever known in his entire life was the one who deciphered his thoughts and actions.

Every word Mikhail said in the mall was true.

Him and Soren were Miles' biggest temptation. They are literally walking media content that could make the system explode and the public crazy. However, his fear for his own life is what's stopping Miles from doing so because as much as he was on the hunt for good content, he treasured his newfound life away from his family.

He wasn't that stupid to throw his entire being just so he could write something about an elite actor who is also a mafia boss. Miles was already doing that because that's what he was working with Soren all about but just not in his own directive.

Once he finally got a grasp of himself, he typed in the password and soon enough, he was greeted by the same desktop he had faced for the past years.

Since he had just arrived home after being escorted by one of Soren's goons, Miles wanted to rest first before he does any work. Maybe sleep a little bit.
