Chapter 27 - Pictures

Miles was staring blankly at his freshly cooked ramen. The steam coming from the food swam above his apartment but he couldn't feel any of his senses right now as they are all at the back of his mind. His main thoughts were focused on the one and only American Prince, Soren Chandler.

'Oh, my God,' Miles internally screamed and panicked.

He had listened to the recording of the latest interview and he just can't believe what he had discovered.

Soren Chandler is gay.

The Soren Chandler who is also widely known aside from his charismatic looks but also for his extensive list of women from higher classes. These are just not simple women. They are women who had great influence in the world and had great wealth to accompany it with.

'But he's gay?' He was lost in his thoughts again.

He knew he was being quite presumptive based on the interviews alone because that was all he got so far but he could already see where it was going.

Now he has a clue why Soren Chandler was walking on eggshells around Mikhail Cavallero.

He is obsessed with Mikhail.

Not just any kind of obsessed but the one where he was contemplating whether to kill those who took Mikhail's attention away. His level of possessiveness even at the start was already so high that it made Miles uncomfortable.

However, it looked like Mikhail wasn't aware of it.

He saw Soren as a young child that needs to be taken care of but in return, as Soren grew up, he developed this sort of feelings for Mikhail that were hard to overturn.

Miles did a few researches about such feelings and there were a lot of possibilities including personality disorders that might have stemmed from his condition as a child that delayed his mental development.        

But the main point of this was the fact that Soren Chandler was gay.

'Shit,' Miles' hand itched to grab his phone and tweet a few stuff but he knew he shouldn't.

Soren is a dangerous entity. He might be already the leader of a criminal organization that had close ties to world leaders and powerful government officials. A measly journalist like him should never betray Soren because a snap of the man's fingers can indicate the death of his entire family lineage starting from him until his fifth cousin.

The scoop of Soren Chandler being gay would break the internet, that's for sure but Miles was more worried about his own life. He cannot just hide from Soren if he ever betrayed the man because he knows Soren is like the devil that has eyes and ears everywhere.

Besides, he was sure Soren's fans would either accept him wholeheartedly or make excuses about it.  He is like a drug that the people can't quit from.

But Soren's addiction lies to the person who was staying in his place as well.

"I mean, I understand why he would be attracted to Mikhail because if the man made a move on me, I'd fold like a chair in front of him," Miles muttered as he paid attention to his ramen and broke his disposable chopsticks in half while making sure that the ramen ladle was beside him.

But he also understood where Soren's obsession might be coming from aside from his deep attraction to Mikhail.

He made sure Soren was well-pampered and taken care of when they were kids. Kael unintentionally made Soren his world and the feeling of being the center of someone's attention seems to have made Soren feel like he was floating in heaven.
