"Soren Chandler is involved with a dangerous family, possibly related to underground powers." Miles bit the end of his pen as he lazily leaned back on his gaming chair. His feet were laid on the table while he continued looking at the notepad in his arm.

There was no other way someone who had to clear an airport for their only son was someone of government power. If they are, it would've been flashed all over the news and the backlash from the public would be intense. However, there wasn't any information about it. Not a single word was spoken out in the media or any records.

That simply meant that if what Soren really did speak of happened, it was ordered to not be spoken by anyone.

"I see..." He mumbled.

Maybe that's the reason why no one else knew a background about Soren Chandler's family. They were all unidentified individuals that even the best investigators couldn't get their hands on.

It wasn't common to the public but there indeed exists colossal powers in the underground. Black markets and deep web transactions, they were all a part of the underground organizations. However, Miles wasn't sure of the range of power Soren's family held.

In Miles' theory, sure, they were able to clear an entire airport for the arrival of their only son and made sure that nothing gets out in the public but these kinds of power are also common in the underground especially to the upper middle-class families there.

The kind of authority the public should be most mindful are those families hidden in the background that directly controls the highest forms of authority in the public.

Monarchies and democratic leaders may be the most powerful for everyone but unbeknownst to them, there are those with greater authorities than them that are able to control what happens to the world as they wished.

Those are the kinds of powers that no one else knew about... or at least speculated.

"Well, it's only a guess and it may not be real. Soren's family must have at least a good private life that is generally connected with political systems if they are facing death threats each day," he shrugged his shoulders before straightening his posture and stretching.

He was already thinking about things that are needed for the movie and the things he had to include and exclude.

Yes, Soren was telling him his life story but Miles just couldn't blatantly include that in the movie. There may be subtle hints but if he were to do that, it's not guaranteed that Soren would even be able to protect him from the mafia.

"Mafia," he laughed. He often heard about the term in the neighboring countries but he never took the term seriously. Who knows? Maybe they are real-

"Wait..." he mumbled as he slowly settled his pen and notepad down and thought of something again.

When something struck his mind, Miles immediately opened his computer and typed in the search bar.

There could be no way, right?

Every letter on the keyboard that he pressed made a noise that only allowed his heart and mind to race further as if it were in a competition.

Once he pressed enter, various results popped up and they all spoke of the same thing. Each word was reflected in his eyes and realization came dawning upon him.

"I see... So that's how it is..." Miles smiled once he finally grabbed a piece of useful information. Not that he had any intention with it, he was just highly curious with the events happening in Soren Chandler's life.

Even if he tried to betray Soren and release the recordings of the interview they had together, Miles' life would end the moment it reached the web or the press.
