[Act 6 - Allistair Chandler - Age 23]

Knocks echoed inside the room and Allistair stirred in his sleep.

He didn't even bother getting up and just laid in his bed while yelling 'Come in!' to the person banging on his door. He didn't have to think who it was though because there was only one person he lived with in this unit.

The door creaked as it opened and he silently listened to the footsteps that were getting nearer every second. Soon, the bed dipped when the person's weight was placed on it as he sat.

"Wakey-wakey young man!" It was Kael.

There's no one as energetic as Kael every morning. In fact, he is the most morning person Allistair had ever known in his entire life.

Kael was practically shooting and showering flower petals around him everywhere he went and it was one of the qualities that Allistair both found cute and sometimes slightly annoying because he loves sleeping in in the morning.

Allistair didn't make any effort to wake up at all. Instead, he grabbed the free pillow beside him and covered his head with it which made Kael scoff and huff.

"Come on, Ali! Wake up!" He could feel Mikhail climb on the bed but not before dropping his slippers on the floor and tickling Allistair's feet.

But that didn't work. Allistair was never the type to be tickled in such places anyway. He only muttered some incoherent words before turning lifting the pillow and glaring at Kael.

"Go away," he warned but that didn't faze the young master. Instead, Kael felt even more challenged to wake the sleepy giant.

"Hehe..." Ali could feel Kael chuckling like a gremlin near his feet as he had his eyes closed again but not before he felt Mikhail climb on top of him and place each leg on either side of his waist.

"Wha-" that made him open his eyes again as he looked at the young man straddling him.

He looked at Kael with a bewildered look on his face.

Despite Kael being a usual open book that he could read most of the time, there was one thing Allistair could understand about him.

Kael doesn't seem to notice that his actions are provoking. He performs actions that make the receiving party think whether he is flirting with them or not and it only ends up with them falling for him without Kael intending for that to happen.

That's why Allistair was keeping a tight fence around him.

Ali knew Kael's actions could influence people in such a way that it wouldn't take great effort before they turned to be like his younger brother who is canonically obsessed with Kael.

Right. Only a fool would not notice his younger brother's intense attachment to Mikhail. Soren is addicted to Kael in such a way that he sees everything else as competition when it comes to the young master.

Even his own brother.

That's why Allistair was trying to prevent more people from getting close to Mikhail than necessary.

He's like a drug that kept people wanting for his presence. At first, they might be hesitant to approach him because of the aura and confidence he exudes but once they get a taste of his treatment with the people he likes, they become so addicted to it that they turn into obsessive and manipulative monsters that would do whatever it takes to keep Mikhail in their arms.

"Kael, get off," he complained with a groan but it was useless as Mikhail started tickling his sides which didn't work either.

Allistair was also keeping himself at bay with Mikhail because he knew how dangerous it was to be indulging freely in the affection he showers.
