The corner of Miles' lips twitched as he looked up.

"I've seen this tower a lot of times already but I couldn't get my head around it properly," he commented as he sighed and calmed his beating heart. Three days have passed and it was now Monday. It was still thirty minutes before the agreed time they would meet but he wanted to be early because he did not want to make a bad impression of himself to Soren Chandler even though it might already be worse than he thought.

'Calm yourself down, Miles. This is for your future. If you aren't going to take this risk then you'll forever be a lowly journalist making scraps and surviving off of it,' he encouraged himself before clenching his hands and looking at the tower again where Soren lives.

He just needs to do what Soren wanted and it would be over, right? Right.

His life isn't on the line on this one. His career may be but at least his life wasn't. That was the only thought running through his head because as much as he wanted to ignore it, Miles couldn't help but feel anxious and nervous. The two emotions in his body made him shiver and cower in fear of what was waiting before him.

But deciding it was too late to chicken out and he knew his preparations were complete, he held his heart tightly.

He entered the automatic doors that opened when they detected his presence. "Unit forty-seven, right?" He asked himself as he searched for the elevator around the ground floor.

Once he found it, Miles quickly entered and press the number forty-seven.

It took him quite some time to reach his destination but every time the bell rang signifying he was ascending floor to floor, Miles couldn't help his heart again. It was pounding louder on every floor and his palms were getting sweaty.

Heck, he never knew his palms could even get sweaty at all. It was the first time it happened in his entire existence. "Calm yourself, Miles. This is work. Whatever you're going to do for Soren Chandler won't kill you," he repeated over and over again both in mind and mouth.

Miles did a lot of thinking as to why he was feeling this way. It wasn't because Soren Chandler wanted to work with him. If it were under normal circumstances, he would gladly accept any offer from the man with a bright smile. He'd probably shed tears of joy as well if it were to happen.

The thing is, he captured a photo of Soren Chandler entering a high-end exclusive club that was rumored to be a drug and prostitution den. It might have sparked rumors about Soren and as a result, it might've angered the actor in question. Thus, Miles was sweating bullets and he was afraid these bullets would turn into actual bullets if he wasn't careful enough around Soren.

He was so lost in thought that he did not hear the elevator bell ring when it reached his destination. Miles almost jumped in his spot when he was pulled out of his thoughts.

"I've left notes in my apartment where I am going, right? In case I do go missing, at least people will know Soren Chandler's home was the origin of the crime," he murmured as he stepped out of the elevator then he realized...

'He said unit forty-seven, not floor forty-seven!' Miles exclaimed in his head as he started to panic again. He quickly brought his phone out of his pocket and reviewed the message Soren had sent him a few days ago and indeed, it was unit forty-seven, not floor forty-seven. God, he was in too much anxiety and panic that his thoughts were already mixed up.

"Agh!" He exclaimed in frustration before heaving a heavy sigh. He was about to turn back to the elevator when his eyes caught a glimpse of the unit number indicated on the door in front of him.

"Forty...Seven...?" Miles asked himself, quite unsure if he was reading it right.

As far as he knew, there are around four to five units on a single floor. The Sky Towers wasn't just tall, it was big as well so it was a possibility to fit five units on a single floor.
